The end result of Coleman’s management of the club for nineteen months. Controlling everything and letting nobody do their jobs. Involved in everyhting from top to bottom at the club. Now he is a recruiter of non playing staff, playing staff, assessing players, fingers in every pie. This is so concerning it is affecting every area of the club.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

I said so earlier the whole club is awry

Replacing Williams which is now inevitable or Coleman shows he is failing too will just be papering over the cracks.

Millions wasted on the recruitment of players and managers since he came on the scene.
For me, he is the root of the problems

Yes without doubt

It looks and sounds very much like the micro managing CEO is a major part of our current issues. After relegation we struggled with finances and the flash sale of players. But things could have been so much better with more professional decision making.

I wouldn't put it passed him appointing himself as manager!

Potter is a fine coach but he used his £7m transfer budget very badly with the "four non negotiables" McKay Celina Asoro and Declan John.

Ivan Toney was available for peanuts.

Swansea were never once linked to Toney so the post is pointless.
And hindsight is such a wonderful thing.

Maybe Jenkins should have signed Haaland when he was a 16 year old....?

You did not need hindsight to realise McKay and Declan John were duffers.

The money should have been spent elsewhere. You might argue there was no one available at that time. If Potters recruitment man had anything about him he would have been aware of Toney and Robert Dickie and others. I am not evena professional scout but I was aware of Newcastle releasing a promising forward.

I saw John play for Wales U21 and he was awful. The Bulgarian winger had him on toast. No fan having watch McKay play more than 2-3 time would ever countenance paying a fee for him. Asoro was never needed as Potter did not seem to be aware of Dan James. Celina gad his merits but Cooper got shot of him for hack of defensive application. He binned the other three after an FA cup defeat v QPR.

I recall Connor Roberts trashing Asoro in a preSeason friendly after he deserted his post. Some posters on here were upset. CR17 is the man Coleman must bring back on a free and made Captain.

Cooper talked about " non negotiables". Williams talked about "losing the win to compete". Both were damning indictments. Williams needs to do what Cooper did and wield the axe. Dispatching Abdullai was a great sight for the under achievers

Bit like Paul Watson spaffing millions up against a wall and then being told by our chairman, don't worry about it , have another go this summer.

Still Coleman does live in the area so that's all right then.

In the recent Cooper Martin Williams era the manager have consistently sent away and not player a string of good players worth millions but not good enough for Swansea

Gyorkeres ( loan to buy)
Al Hamadi
Whittaker
Joseph
Yates
Kuharevych
Ogbeta
Abdullai

Barry Chuckle would have been better.

Asoro was also poor in a Swans kit.

Celina was a good player though, enjoyed watching him.

Do you think Paul Watson did a good job here in recruiting and do you think Coleman was right to let him continue in the role last summer after the perceived failure of 2023?

I believe Williams is not managing these players properly. Swansea is not Chelsea and if it signs a player t he must be used. I am a big fan of Abdullai and releasing him was the final straw for me.
