Dry socket 14:59 - Jan 22 with 808 viewsE17hoop

I know I've mentioned the dentist before on here but I had to have a tooth out on Friday - a back molar.

It was OK until Monday and then the pain's started. Been back to the dentist and I have a dry socket; the clot to protect the gum has fallen out. He's cleaned it all out and good pain relief now (so good, so so good).

I have never known pain like it...anyone else suffered with this?

It's always noisiest at the shallow end

Yes, I had to have mine out just over a year ago and also got dry socket after it, the pain was awful but subsided eventually. I think I was on the antibiotics for a week afterward then the pain did start to subside. Lots of soup for lunches!

My issue was my two lower wisdom teeth grow sideways and the one on my right hand jaw had basically drilled through the molar. I've had my left hand lower wisdom tooth removed now to stop the same happening the other side. The pain from the wisdom tooth was worse and lasted longer!

I feel for you mate. I can't believe the experience of having an implant on top rear of mouth, all i will say is that involved lift my sinus flaps, two words that should never appear in a sentence together. The whole process took 18 months from removing old tooth to getting implant in. And about £3.5k.

I started getting a tooth ache last week... but it only hurts when I walk or stand.

Eating, laying down etc its okay, but its a dull pain when I walk.

Last year I had 2 wisdom teeth out.... f me it hurt

I had dry socket a few years ago after having a tooth removed at the back, bizarrely the dentist used cloves and the pain relief was instant and it didn’t bother me anymore.

I had just started a new job and spent a week working with a dry socket after having my wisdom tooth removed, it was bloody awful I lived of paracetamol until I could be seen by a dentist.

The last home game I had tickets for was QPR thrashing leeds united but I missed it due to the pain.

Ohhhhhh bobby zamora
