Apologies if there is a transfer thread I'm opening a thread for the January transfer window which has now opened.
Who should be a potential signing for us and who should move on either via loan or permanently? I've heard Kyrell Lisbie & Gus Scott Morriss mentioned as potential targets but could they potentially make the jump from NL to L2? Some players do but others don't.
Plus actual transfers that we bring in & out can also be mentioned here. |  |

Since it was mutually agreed I suspect money was saved particularly as done giving them chance to find alternative employment.
DC is quoted in Gazette as saying both have clubs to go to and rumour for Jay is Torquay which is his hometown.
The mutual agreement would mean we will almostcertainly only be paying up part of their contracts so together the savings likely as not will help is bring one loan in as loaning club almost certainly will pay part of players salary. [Post edited 23 Jan 16:07]

Bit of a strange one this. He's here to play football it seems but if he goes straight into the side it doesn't bode well for Kelleher or Goodliffe. Is this a position where we really needed to get a player in? I'm not sure myself. Would've preferred another wide player or forward personally. |  |

Where they go and what they earn after cancellation of contract is not are concern.
Need to secure new clubs and contracts so effectively playing on trail anyway . |  |

Reading Scott Lindsay's comments on the move it appears that Tucker won't be playing for MK again so I'd imagine this loan move is with one eye on next season for sure. I'm far happier with it now as that's exactly what we should be doing in our current position. He's got loads of experience with over 200 games and is still only 25 which in centre back terms is pretty young. With Flanagan and Kelleher both out of contract this season this move is making more and more sense to me. | |

He started both games for MKD at the JCS earlier in the season, so DC and NC must have seen something even though we scored four goals in those games. |  | | |

Morecambe face an uncertain future after owners Bond Group failed to provide assurances that they would keep the club afloat until the end of the season.
The Shrimps are currently second bottom of League Two but confirmed on Thursday there would be no further signings to aid their relegation battle, with the ownership unable to show they can support the business until May.
The club's board has reacted by publicly calling them out in a statement, suggesting boss Derek Adams and his squad were being let down.
"The board wishes to place on record that once again the club has been let down by its owner, undermining the efforts and hard work of the manager, staff, and directors at this critical time," it said.
"Bond Group has informed the club today that it is working on sourcing additional funds, but there is no guarantee that these will land in time to impact the rest of the transfer window.
"The board of directors is carefully evaluating the situation and will make a further statement in due course." | |
