The pitch has nothing to do with anything, but yeah. Some of our newer fans (post 2012) have somewhat unrealistic expectations of us - our current side is probably just about good enough to stay up in the Conference and no more. The club can go higher though.
I'm gutted to concede so late having played so well, and it's another game on the calendar (that we'll lose) we could easily do without. Ah well, it's a reminder of progress if nothing else. Hopefully your travelling fans have a safe trip home.
Ah as Binsey said, please ignore 90% of what's posted on our forum. It's mostly nonsense. Would we have liked Charlton/Millwall/Gillingham? Of course, so in that respect the draw is a bit disappointing. The fact you're in a terrific run of form only adds to that. Nonetheless we're at home to a League club for the third year running, so we can't complain too much. You'll also find us a much more friendly bunch in person :)
