Because 2% voted for them doesn't mean 98% want to keep the Senedd.

They're not my figures, they are Nation Cymru's figures.

You said NOBODY wants toi abolish the Senedd when even Nation Cymru say 31% would support that move. The glaring fact here is that support for abolishing the Snedd has grown and very quickly.
With support for Welsh indepepndence now put at around 18% a lot more people want to return to Westminster than want to leave the Union, a massive turnaround in a few years eh?

Please try to keep up with the facts.

Possession Based football.
at 21:47 14 Dec 2024

Possession alone doesn't win games as Russell Martin has so ably proved.

You still need to get the ball forward, get into the oppo's third and at least shoot at goal. Having 70% possession but only 2-3 shots at goal (as did happen under Martin) is pathetic.

You don't shoot you don't score.

Williams out
at 21:44 14 Dec 2024

I think LW is showing positive signs, things are better this season than they've been for a while. Hopefully the change in owners will see an improvement because things became very much worse under Kaplan and Levein.

Seems to me LW has improved players, Cullen to start with, the swithc to AM is working and he scored a peach today.

Our trouble is we have nothing decent on the bench, no strength to come on and see a game out. LW needs help in the next transfer window, even if we got Pep Guardiola to come here I'm not sure he could work a miracle with this squad.

What do you think putting "like" into a sentence then rambling on about something that wasn't being discussed means?

Your grasp of the English language is even worse than mine.

Well the first sentence is blatantly and demonstrably wrong.

People wouldn't vote for that Abolish group because they were screaming nutjobs. The fact that over 50% of the Welsh electorate never vote tells you they couldn't care less about the Senedd.

Because facts matter, see.

Oooh, here's an interesting fact for you, 31% of the Welsh electorate support abolishing the Senedd, according to Nation Cymru,

Public sector pay
at 21:23 14 Dec 2024

The country is bankrupt because of totally inept, utterly useless politicians who have made a massive mess of the public finances.

The tax burden is the highest it's ever been and yet there is still no money? There's plenty of money for politicians and their expenses though.

Take my local area, Skewen, we have a community council and a Mayor for a village of 6-7000, seriously? In Wales we have 22 LAC's for a population of less than 4 million and a devolved government determined to increase the Senedd financial burden on us by more than 50%.
The UK is broke and has to borrow money to pay it's bills and all 4 members of the union are broke too yet we keep on spending money on......well what exactly? Not where it's needed most apparently but on where politicians think it should gp.

One thing is certain, the UK is not bankrupt because of the state pension or those who deserve to be paid it.

The chase for perpetual growth is the bad thing. As long as people keep on wanting more we will see this continue.

By more I mean larger numbers. it doesn't matter that those record pay packets are actually worth less in real terms as prices rise ahead of them. And the hyper inflated pay pacakes of CEO's sports stars, celebrities and even politicans just add to inflation.

People need to stop chasing bigger profits, bigger houses and cars and worry more about being happy. Constantly chasing more will only produce more misery.

He didn't impress me, no. I thought he was a dick and told him so.

I've stuck to cars ever since and in my younger days I own up to being a dick in the fastest cars I had. I never had an accident but how I don't know, I learned before I hurt anybody though.

When he stays stop making things up he is referring to your claim that you believe Williams but he does not.

It appears that part is not true and therefore "made up" which also means it's not a nasty bit of sping but the plain and simple truth.

Happy to clarify for you.

I'm not a rider but been on the back a few times, my bro in law had a Honda 1200 super sport, a Duc 996, a BMW K 1500 and a Repsol amongst others. At one point he had 4 motorbikes but then 2 got stolen, whike he was at home. They would have taken all 4 if not disyurbed.

Anyway, he was a berk, bloody dangerous and if he was trying to scare me he managed it. A few weeks later he came off up the Brecon, ended up in Merthyr hospital and was lucky to be alive.

Yeah, Curt came down Underhill and took Mumbles Rangers training a few times back in the 90's. He was with Haverfordwest by then I think, right towards the end of his playing days but being the legend he is we all loved it.

Hardest training sessions I ever did too. Only realised how knackered I was when I sat down though because they were great fun.

I wish we could have full backs like Attley and Jimmy again. Attley was no great shakes going forward but he could defend, was hard to get past.

I recognised faces in the crowd. I was 13 back then.

Africa was never mentioned mun

Though it is true that even quite recently African tribes have rampaged around killing each other. It's the human condition, it's easier to hate and fight than to love and support each other. The politicians love it, it makes it easy for them to divide and conquer.

All this Budget Speculation

We shouldn't grant visas but a lot of them are needed?

Out of interest, re the "last time I saw" how do you know who is an immigrant let alone legal or illegal? They don't have to be black or asian, there are white immigrants too.

The government can't even put a figure on how many illegal immigrants are here. Back in the far past being an island proyecyed us but today it's a curse, it's so easy to sneak into the UK by boat, criminals have a field day.

Yes, I already said it somewhere, don't look at the percentages and look at the actual cash value.
I think our state pension is poor and should be higher. But then I also believe that all benefits should be means tested (A pension not being a benefit) and the WFA, free prescriptions, bus passes etc should only be for those who actually need them.

I looked it up, pensioner benefits cost the UK about 11.3 percent of the budget, around 138 billion this year, pensions will cost roughly 125 billion. 4.1%of that is around 5.25 billion I think so not sure where Scotia gets 10-15 billion from. That'd be up over 10%.

I imagine retention is quite hard too.

Rayns, it's much easier to push water uphill when it's frozen, just get a decent pair of gloves. At the rate of Uk pensions and the cutting of the WFA those gloves will come in very handy in cold weather too
