Madsen today

Reminds me a bit of that other Danish disappointment...the little mermaid. It's a decent monument, a good story, has the potential to be quality, but ultimately a bit lightweight, a bit fishy and could be so much more.

Feels like Marti has got them playing his way again.

Dunne at RB just seems to work for us.

That first half was shocking football. Second half we snapped out of it. Stream was very choppy.

MotM has to be Field surely. Shout out to Kolli, Cook, Madison, Dunne and Varane.

Kolli has Ferdinand hang time....Field burries it.

Get in there and let's push on.

If we go on to win I'll forgive that first half performance.

I enjoyed that
at 17:01 7 Dec 2024

I can't remember the last time I watched the Rs with a 3 goal cushion for so long. I really enjoyed the pressing, the energy, the bite and the shape. We rode out luck a bit and made our own luck as well. Well done to everyone today my MOTM is Kholli but shout out to Saito, Dunne, Varane, Smyth, Morrison and Cook. Well done Marti. That felt much more like it today.

Marti's False Dawn
at 22:12 5 Nov 2024

Marti did a great join last year to keep us up and really brought some professionalism and class to proceedings.
I can help but feel that his performance in the championship was improved by having Ainsworth's salt of the earth type pros around him and polishing that turd well.
He is now trying to build a budget tiki taka style at the bottom of the championship and it just isn't working.
I really thought that we would turn a corner this year and be in mid table with clear progress and enjoyable football to watch.
I have tuned out for the last few games. I just check results and come on here for a limited amount of time to see how my fellow Rs are reacting.
It's just not fun supporting the Rs again. It's not like I'm going to support another club.....I just do other things and watch other sports instead.
Such a shame as I do like Marti.

Lovely documentary about men's mental health, and sharing the love
at 17:41 3 Nov 2024

Just watched this because of the recommendation. Good watch and interesting to see the impact of "love love....not tough love" from the fans. I thing Clear probably needs love love until he gets a goal. Not as obvious how you'd do that in football as there aren't the breaks in the game. Maybe some kind of chant whatever his performance.
I guess some people go to the football as it is a safe space to be judgemental and angry. Don't get me wrong....it's bloody annoying that he's not scoring. But do we really think he's not doing his best and would love to score every week. Each week the pressure must be growing in his head.

Frustrating evening.

Nice football isn't nice when it is losing.

Lack physicality from the end of last season.

Marti has a few more weeks to make the is work and is perhaps due a bit of.luck but this slide is not cool.

I understand the patience required to build a style of football but can't afford to be so soft. We seem to have been behind for almost all the season.

He was really lightweight in the first half.

There is a possibility that he is a bit unique and that takes time to adjust. I'm glad he's here and that he scored. Yet to see a performance that shows me what he can do.

Obviously what Marti is looking for so happy to go with that.

Jimmy Dunne - undroppable
at 08:26 31 Aug 2024

Our change in fortunes coincided with him moving to right back. Sorted out the defensive set pieces and gave us some passion. Not sure he is the long term solution and he'll have to play in the centre at some point. Love him though....a proper R.

Well that was a game of 3 thirds....
First 15 mins we were sharp
Next 40 mins we were gash
Last 35 mins we were class

Michi Frey MOTM - non stop and brilliant forward play.

Cook is such an important player for us. Him, JCS and Field are the core of the team.

Dembele is such a prospect. Smyth made a difference. Jimmy never gives up and nearly scored.

Special mention for Nardi....lots of big saves.

The big difference for me is that our bench can really make a difference now.

Well done Marti, the players and everyone who went.

Beat Luton home and away in the league and the cup in 4 days...
