So,how much more
at 19:58 25 Jan 2025

I've seen some people mention colin waynker, but hopefully in jest.

However, i'm now 2 beers and a bottle of red in, and having listened to big Sam on under the cosh, fcuk it, get him in.
He wouldn't take any nonsense from the players.

Who's in?

I used to get annoyed with people that disagreed with me, so this was one of the things i took a break from. It wasn't their fault, it was definitely mine .

But we all love the Swans on here and thankfully, we will see the game in a different way, as it would be pretty boring otherwise.

Nice to be back though.

I was struggling for a few years, lost interest in most things and just went to work and stayed in, just bored with life and couldn't be bothered.
I never had a light bulb moment, but I did realise that I was becoming a right grumpy old bastard and didn't find joy in anything. However now that i'm typing this out, I do think the wife might have mentioned something .

Anyway, I thought, what's pissing me off, and the things that have helped me have been, watching much less T.V., because there's way too much misery on there, the news, soaps, miserable mini series and so on. I don't read newspapers anymore, and I've really cut down on twitter and "friends" on facebook. I try to relax when driving and just let the idiots go, you're so unlikely to see them again, it's not worth it.

So these days, I walk to work and listen to a podcast or some music. I make sure my family come first, they are my priority so i ignore toxic people. I enjoy cooking, and i never thought i would say that. I listen to music instead of tv, it's just so much better, but the main thing i've done is make just a few hours of me time (believe me, i never thought i would go with a buzz phrase ). Also, as I hate Saturday night tv and the wife loves it, i go in to the kitchen, cook a meal for us and have a drink, sometimes wine, sometimes gin, but mostly beer, I'm currently in to Belgian beer, I don't drink heavily, and not every week, but it's something to look forward to.
My next goal is weight loss, so it's looking for healthy recipes and drinking more water, but not on Saturdays .
All the best to everyone out there and if you need help, bloody ask.
We are here.

No argument there, they're a great defensive pair and their contracts need sorting asap.

Diolch.

I must say now though, I am quite drunk.

I desperately needed a drink after today.

I'm not saying Grimes is perfect, he's not, however I'll disagree a bit with you there. Grimes often covers back and makes some decent last ditch challenges, but Darlings passing is woeful.

After today, we have to try something different.

We definitely need to move the ball much quicker. there was one point today they had 6 players in our half, we had 5 and possession, yet we didn't look to go forward, just the usual pass it around the back.
We HAVE to be more positive. I think we have the players capable of doing this, we just need to break the old habits and take some chances, give something a go, get their defenders running back and facing their goals.

Come Lukey boy, sort it out.

Quite a few having a pop a Grimes for giving the ball away today, but did no one notice how many times Darling gives a short pass and/or give the ball away?

He's definitely not shagging my wife.

Why is football seeing such a rise in issues at games
at 20:43 12 Feb 2022

Couldn't agree more. I work in schools, the amount of referrals to social services and mental health organisations has gone through the roof. The school youth worker I work with really cannot keep up, he said he can't try and prevent now, it's just fire fighting. T.a's., are struggling to get some kids through the day and on top of that, the horrible kids are verbally abusing them, knowing the consequences are minimal.
As well being a t.a., I used to be a foster carer too but had to give it up as there was no support from the system (not the social workers). It ended up the kids knew we had both our hands tied behind our backs and because of this we lost the kids to scum we would never have let our own kids mix with. So we gave up after the 2nd one , the hurt and frustration was way too much.
There is just so much wrong with the system now, it would take years to repair, especially as the government seem to behave how they want to without any cosequences too.
