I seen one of England "lads" hiding in a pub and the bar staff protecting them as some weird looking old Dutch fans dressed in orange Hawian shirts, mullets, leather baseball caps and dread locks attack them Very bizarre [Post edited 11 Jul 9:21]

Good for the city Good for the clubs involved Good for the economy and for local business Another part of the city opening up and growing Another good reason to call for better transport systems towards Mumbles Club rugby has never pulled in big crowds apart from certain games Your arguments against are very poor Butt |

Unfortunately like I said your not paying for the seats your paying for the journey, some train companies you can't reserve seats. Hopefully with this new lot in and promises of renationalised railway things "may" get better |

Can I ask how many minutes were you delayed for as £14 doesn't seem much ? Reducing to 5 coaches could be for a number of reasons maybe unit fault. Unfortunately there is no legal limit to how many passengers can travel on any one train and passengers misconception of I paid for a seat is not strictly true in the passengers charter it actually says you're paying for the journey not the seat and trains unlike cars do not come to a halt it will take up to a 1 mile for a train to come to a complete stop, some passengers may fall causing slight injury but serious injury no not really. And make sure he does claim compensation because there are Millions of pounds sitting in the private companies pockets because if it is a Network Rail fault then GWR will get a sh1t load of money in compensation from them and vice versa! the whole system is a con and the money just keeps getting swished around. One thing train companies don't like is bad publicity get on twitter and complain on there don't rant because they will ignore you keep to the facts because they will have to investigate it. |

Unfortunately it's years of under investment or should I say wrong investment in the wrong place, modern ideas on Victorian infrastructure, millions of pounds wasted every week, privatisation were money being taken out and the minium is being spend (and not a penny more) as per their contracts. I remember saying on here a very long time ago things will get worse on the railway and this is just the tip. |

Brilliant speech I thought and a real shame he had to drag the ghosts of Christmas past around with him Johnson,Trust...otherwise things could have been different for the Tories |

Or lack of it, more relaxed policing, idiots being priced out and the Euro's being a lot more cuddly ? What has massively changed from the last couple of Euros when in the UK you see reports & videos nearly every week. Germany in central Europe would be bang on the money for the chair throwers. |

In the grand scheme of things our owners are a perfect average just like our league positions the last couple of seasons, they have appointmented "some" canny managers but haven't given them the tools to shine and I can see our managers head being turned aswell in the future if he's not getting the backing. |

Monk is not fit to polish Laudrups togs and from then on in he and the Swans spiralled, luckily enough we are still hanging on in there as an established mid table Championship side he on the otherhand finished 18th with Cambridge United 4 points off the drop to League 2 |

The Hull connection goes back to the very early 1990's to one of the maddest 24hrs and was typical of football in the early 1990's We went up in two mini buses and a couple of cars we got there way early so waited outside their pub The Silver Cod when it did open we camped out in the back room and watch Hull fans come in one by one and they were rightly so p1ssed off we were in there and after a bit of handbags the police came and took them out leaving us inside and told the landlord to lock the doors and close the curtains and leave us in there as that way they knew where we were and didn't want us wondering around Hull so early, Hull fans were outside across the road and we were waving at them through the curtains they weren't best happy, after a while we got bored and left for the ground again another lively walk down towards the ground. At the end of the game Swansea and Hull fans were on the pitch there are some photos around of that game I think they were on the old JA website? Outside they waited for us and it took ages for us to get out of Hull and our mini buses were bricked at the traffic lights next to the ground. After the game someone decided we should go to Blackpool for the night even though its nowhere near Hull but we did. We ended up in a pub called Mr Brewster? and there were some other fans in there after a while one of them came over to one of the well known older Swansea boys and said "we were on your pitch" it turned out they were the Huddersfield fans that invaded the pitch at the vetch earlier in the season, the whole pub went nuclear and turned into craziest pub fight I've ever seen, we weren't supposed to stay the night but we all did because everyone scattered after a while and no mobile phones in those days we all got split up, 5 of us managed to get a B&B, some got B&B's some slept in the mini buses and some just stayed all night wondering around. How we all managed to meet up the next morning and all get home is unbelievable but then that's what happened back then things did just happen no mobile phones no twitter no facebook In the photos I met the mixed race lad with dreed locks in Ibiza in 2008 I had a beer and a photo with him, I can actually remember him at Swansea that day.
