What a performance!! on 18:25 - Jan 4 by Daley_Lama | Keep your stubs is the only thing I would advise on a "just in case" basis. It wasn't a sell out today. IF we are at home and IF we get a truly big one then I reckon priority to those who were there today will be applied. |
Those who went to Torquay should have priority, tbf.

I like that suggestion. How do I prove I was there?
What a performance!! on 19:43 - Jan 4 with 1639 views | Zac_Leeds_LS6 | As you would expect writing this is not what i was expecting when i woke up this morning.. but crédit where it is due..Well done on a top drawer performance .. no complaints on the result.. just our (Leeds) performance.. some very angry fans on our coach tonight .. but would imagine anything near that standard and you must be looking at a decent 2014. naturally gutted.. but its the Fa Cup and every year there are shocks.. this year its us! good luck with a money spinning draw in next round ..
What a performance!! on 19:49 - Jan 4 with 1598 views | YouTubeDale | It doesn't get better than that !!!!!!! Leeds fans coming for a celebration party and we made them like it. Great goal by Hogan just before half time, a good time to score, but typical of exactly what he can do. Again, Henderson's goal was classy and typical Hendo. He likes that top right hand corner and had a few pops at it before he got it spot on. To a man, a great team performance , and we did want it far more than Leeds. We had the tenacity, the hunger, the grit and determination and even as important the SKILL to conquer the mighty Leeds. What a last ditch tackle on McCormack by Bennett in the first half !!! Done had the pace to protect our left rear and I thought Rose would have been lacking in this respect, so the FGs were backing us all along for this one. The tackles from Lund were immense, and Lancashire and O'Connell were rocks at the back. I thought the combination of Vincenti winning the headers and Hogan feeding off them was superb and they couldn't deal with it. Cav was sloppy early on but when he gets into his game he too is a force, putting his foot in just at the right moment. We played our usual passing game and it was very much key to beating them. Sorry Leeds, that was OUR party and you can cry if you want to!!!!! [Post edited 4 Jan 2014 19:52]

To be fair Matty Lund as been tackling like that all season.
What a performance!! on 21:32 - Jan 4 with 1302 views | NotEyreClue | I can't believe that no-one's singled out Hogan's performance yet. He looked to have an extra yard of pace today and was unplayable at times. Him and Lund are destined to play at a higher level..of that I'm sure.

Think you might be right. Lund is still learning his trade so if he continues to improve he will easily make a Championship player I reckon. Scott Hogan must be a nightmare for defenders because he has pace in abundance and a low gravity which means he can run with the ball at speed, add to that a goal scorers instinct and there isn't much more to say. Temperament is a big thing and that's something that I am not 100% about yet with Hogan, but he is a young lad so prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt

We all thought they've scored and Bennett came out of nowhere. Awesome! Cav also did an immense sliding tackle in the penalty box, first half. Had to be so spot on with challenge.

What a performance!! on 21:45 - Jan 4 with 1232 views | Daley_Lama | Hogan got no particular praise after the Brizzle and Mansfield games either where others did, despite him scoring 3 in those two. He is back on fire at the mo after his injury, took him a few games to get up to speed.

What a performance!! on 03:07 - Jan 5 with 1039 views | dalian | Super performance! Well done lads! First 20.. bit nervy,, Done being un-Done on left hand side but recovered well in unnatural role 2nd half (why didn''t Leeds exploit it more is beyond me). Made several decent chances, bringing good saves out of Leeds keeper. Deserved lead taken on stroke of half time - very well made and taken goal. 2nd half... again understandably nervy early on. Leeds more of a threat. Then we decided we could finish it it off. And did. Emphatically. Still think as well as we played that we had a gear (or even two) to move up into if needed. Or maybe just getting giddy?!!! What a great day to be a Dale Fan!
