Coincidentally my German Club Duisberg also switched to onion seller hoops and it also looked not as good.

Speaking of Duisburg, they had a cracking game against Köln the other night. German football once again highlighting everything that English football gets wrong by getting it so right. |
That's the reason I started following them.
They had just got promotion in '92/'93 I had just got cable and Sat 1 Used to show Bundesliga before the late night dose of 70's softcore Deutsches Pornoflicken.
Every game I watched of theirs seemed to be 6-2, 4-3, 3-3 etc really good fun to watch.

They have been readily available here in Malaysian stores and markets at the equivalent of £5.
They were even at the KL game last July for £5
Obviously 99% as good as the 100% originals.

I actually won a free home shirt in the In2Win lottery around Christmas time. The voucher remains resolutely unused.
I have no problem with the thin hoops (although I’m not a fan of the white bit at the top) it’s that fecking horrible badge I take issue with.

Have to agree with you Bosh. I had to switch to wearing my champioship winning shirt when we sacked Hughes as I blamed the shirt for a lot of the troubles (along with hughes)
Things have picked up since then but you can only polish a turd so much... |  |
