1. Trev v Barnsley 2. Taarabt v Swansea (2nd) 3. Ferdinand v Man Utd (the one that used to be on Grandstand)
Favourite that I've witnessed live:
1. Trev v Barnsley 2. Furlong v Oldham 3. Ainsworth volley v Rushden
Three others I sadly wasn't there for:
1. Rodney in the Cup Final 2. Wegerle v Leeds 3. Stan in the pre-match video on big screen where he twists two ways then slides it in. 4. Clive Allen lovely drag backs v West Ham (?) 5. Warren Neill from 75 miles out in UEFA Cup.
Special mentions Furlong vs Wigan Falco vs Liverpool Francis overhead vs charlton Tarbs vs Preston Robinson from 90 miles vs scum
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles
Brian Moore
I don't get to go to many games, but my favourite three witnessed live:
1. Trevor Sinclair overhead vs Barnsley 2. Chris Carr (o/g) at Hillsborough 3. Ishmael Miller vs Leicester in the title-winning season, if only for the sight of Clint Hill on the pitch celebrating the other results towards the top of the table going our way immediately afterwards. I think that was the moment I actually first thought we would win the league
I'd have to go for one of Ainsworths goals vs Rushden, Taarbs goal against Swansea the promotion season (can't get enough of it, was a perfect goal) and I dont think I've seen a goal as good as Akos vs Blackpool
Another wonder goal was Rowlandinhos vs Wycombe (helped by the wind of course but that's besides the point )

That Sheffield Wednesday og is my favourite own goal ever
Have watched the R's for 45yrs and seen some great goals but my top three- 1. Gerry Francis vs Liverpool in 1975. That goal said we had arrived and we finished runners up. We were the best side that season by far and Sexton was a genius! 2. Stan Bowles vs FC Cologne in QF of the UEFA Cup in 1976. Cologne were a top side and we swept them away - Bowles was incredible and LR was ROCKING! 3. Stan Bowles vs Spurs in 1975. An amazing team goal and I have never heard a ground so quite!
I guess I would have in the 'I went mental' category, Keith Bradley's own goal that put us in the top flight for the first time in 1968. I was there and it was feeling as though we weren't gonna do it before kind Mr Bradley cut out the middle man and did the honours for us!
off top of my head my favourites that I was there for:
Sinclair v Barnsley Langley away at Cardiff (not a particularly great goal but the celebrations in the away end were mental) Furlong v Oldham Bircham v Brentford away Taarabt v Swansea Barker last minute equaliser v Liverpool in FA Cup Les at home v Sheff Utd I think it was. Paul Parker scoring his one and only goal in a 6-1 win over Luton (even then the scoreboard got it wrong and said Maddix scored)
from the looks of things about 35,000 people were at that Barnsley FA Cup tie, i must have been the only QPR fan to have not seen the Sinclair goal live...
Posted it loads of times but my favourite is Clive Allen away to Cambridge . Best fans celebrations Clive Allen Semi Final at Highbury .
I really liked a goal from Buz at the loft end he pushed it into the striker and followed it , took the knock back first time and it flew in , cant remember the game.

Make that 35,001.
As for the going most mental goal, I'm surprised that little Johnny Spencers winner agianst the mighty Port Vale in THAT game hasn't been mentioned.
Most of my favourites already mentioned but I have a soft spot for the "other" Trev's overhead goal vs Charlton; also his 3rd vs Aston Villa.
A slightly forgotten figure at QPR these days but he was a real eye-opener for me, no-one else in the league at the time seemed to have the same level of skill.
Gerry Francis - away to Spurs in the 70's - a solo run from the half way line, beats a few then casually chips over Pat Jennings.
Ian Stewart - from the halfway line at home - a huge punt over the keeper, all intentional - not sure who against.
Sudbury. That Gerry Francis goal at Spurs is the best I have ever seen by a Rangers player but I never see it mentioned in threads like this. Probably because there is no TV footage of it as far as I can tell. I was beginning to think I imagined it !
