Flair players 17:43 - Oct 27 with 2660 views | welshdale | 1-11 looked like a solid hard working team but today showed that we lack flair and skill in the squad.not one did a we get wide and beat the full back it went wide them back inside and we tried to force the play which was easy to break down. Crying out for a bit of creativity with just one creative player we would be happy with 3points tonight
Flair players on 17:49 - Oct 27 with 2632 views | BartRowou | I think Logan could have been given 20 minutes at the end, maybe for Cavanagh with JK dropping into the middle. We looked less effective against ten than eleven.

Flair players on 18:49 - Oct 27 with 2538 views | BeefCurtain | I disagree. I think Grimes showed plenty of flair and class today and had he scored the penalty I think we could have easily scored two or three. Today was simply one of those games where we did everything but score. The performance was a lot better and despite the disappointment of dropping two points, I came away pretty satisfied for the first time in a while.

Flair players on 19:00 - Oct 27 with 2481 views | RotherhamDale | Agree with the opening post. We look like a team who will plod along all season, picking up eye catching results here and there, but in the main we just roll along unnoticed. That game was for the taking today, they played poorly. Everything was in front of them and we never got between the lines. I think Grimes should play up front instead of Donnelly, and Tutte should move up the pitch. He's the only driving force in this team.
| Possession with progression. |

Grimes has shown that he's more use to the team playing in the hole behind a front two. He still has the chance from there to get on the end of balls into the box, especially one-two's to feet. He's got a football brain and the passing to match, so is wasted as an out-and-out striker [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Tutte looked to make things happen but there seemed to be a lack pf movement to create that yard needed.saying that they parked the bus when the went a man down....that's when a flair player can win us a game | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I couldnt agree more. Ive said all season that we dont have any eye-catching players, the amount of flair we have shown this season is minimal. From what ive seen this season, it wont take a really good side to get promoted, the standard is very poor. On a seperate note, i'm baffled as to how JC can pick Phil Edwards instead of Rafferty or Pearson [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Should have brought dele on soon as they went to show are Intent....the game was done by the time JC changed it and cav should have come off not grimes
Flair players on 20:01 - Oct 27 with 2331 views | RoChDaLe | we should of put rafferty on for edwards adebola on for cavanagh earlier and push mcintyre and tutte much further forward
| how is anthony elding still in league one? |

I'd have done BBM for Cav and Dele for Donnelly with 20 to go, but I don't have any coaching badges so have no right to comment.

i think BBM can control a game much better than cavanagh but we would just be an extra man due to the lack of width so his long range of passing wouldnt be used

Flair players on 20:39 - Oct 27 with 2235 views | Sandyman | Not often I've have said this in the past 12 months but we were way way better than them today, and genuinely unfortunate not to win. We were excellent in most departments, but oh, if we had a winger..... we could rip a new back passage in this league on today's display having seen nothing impressive from other teams. Based on today's performance, not Burton or Morecambe, today's. Well done JC and the lads. Better luck next time.

That's why we needed someone to quicken up the play, Tutte was the only one breaking lines. Logan was a good shout elsewhere.

This team is crying out for some width - we have none! The latter stages of the match had Phil Edwards in great positions out on the right but every ball went square or back. Come on Coleman, sort out another option. We should and could have buried Fleetwood today as they were very poor.

I agree too, I was shocked to see Grimes subbed and would have brought Grant off who did nothing in the second half. Also would have given Logan a shot near the end as we needed some new options. Currently our attacking options from the bench are pretty limited. Played better today but should have had three points!

Flair players on 16:15 - Oct 28 with 1895 views | Brierls | This is the reason why Grimes would be one of the first names on the teamsheet for me, he's one of very few players in our squad who can create something! Forget about these perceived attitude & work rate issues, he's working his balls off at the moment and looking like creating something every time he's on the ball. The movement of Grant and Donnelly, combined with the vision and finishing ability of Grimes, is by far our most dangerous attacking option.

I agree with everything you've said there but, yesterday I was thinking to myself with Dele on the bench if the game wasn't going our way how does the introduction of Dele change things? For example if you bring George on late, hes going to scare the crap out of a tiring defence, does Dele have the same sort of impact? Still I really liked the way we played yesterday and on another day I think we may have bagged afew goals and my whole point would have been irrelevant.
