Luton quite clearly don't rate him and they're not even in the football league! I find it absolutely laughable that we've had him at our club and I'd prefer it if his name was banned from the forum...no seriously. Apparently he refused to take a penalty in a penalty shootout (could have been a league game though can't remember what my source told me lol!) and a defender ended up taking it...he missed and consequently they got knocked out of the respective competition. If it's true (which I'm pretty certain it is), then it's a disgrace. Not only is it a complete joke that a striker refuses to take a penalty but when all is said and done, we needed to sign players that were up for a fight! This clearly demonstrates the absolute opposite and I suppose sums up the past management's recruitment policies. | |

If its true he refused, had he previously been a penalty taker then fair enough that's abit of a joke. But it could have been he just said he wasn't in the right frame of mind to take a penalty...
Either way, he was a wrong signing, never made sense. I still don't understand the exchange between him and FB at bury, looked abit more than just getting someone pumped up for the game. | | | |
