Juric 20:52 - Feb 9 with 672 views | grumpy | What was he thinking of when he selected the team yesterday? 4 Wing Backs 1 Central Defender No Centre Forward Leaves Ramsdale on the bench. Onuachu on the bench after him starting to score. Bella-Kotchap if he isnt going to play him why sit him on the bench? Wood,he has looked good when he has played, left on the bench. Grønbæk and Archer left on the bench till the 86 min. Smallbone what was he supposed to do,at 82min? Lallana why did we even get him ? Sugawara must just be confused as to what he has to do. All this in a game that should have given us another win and a place in the 5th Round of the FA Cup. I have watched Saints for a long time now but I must confess I have rarely seen such a mess. Come to think of it I cant remember Saints closing a whole stand for a 4th round FA Cup tie. [Post edited 9 Feb 21:02]

Juric on 21:26 - Feb 9 with 601 views | saint22 | No excuse by saint22 8 Feb 22:33I wanted to give Juric a chance, dealt a bad hand earned us a win etc but ffs what was that all about today!?!
Build some confidence
Play Ketchup and Wood, why not rest KWP??
Bringing Smallboner on!?!
Why not play wingers either side of tall Paul??
It’s all so obvious but yet again we have found a clueless one | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

Juric on 22:26 - Feb 9 with 523 views | PatfromPoole | What I don’t get is his supposed demand for “heavy metal football”. We still play David Brent football. Yesterday was full of slow, ponderous Martin stuff at its very worst. When Pochettino took over from Adkins, he had our players charging around like crazed lunatics pretty much from the first game. Worked a treat. Not seeing any of that at all. Ate our players that unfit that they simply aren’t up to “heavy metal football”? | ![](/images/avatars/1961.gif) |

Juric on 23:29 - Feb 9 with 477 views | Southamptonfan | I have to say, I am not sure about this manager. I agree that it was strange not to start with a striker. Surely Tall Paul was perfect to start against a physical Burnley side. He reminds me slightly of Puel. He's a bit snappy, a bit irritating. However, he has taken over a poor team, a bunch of players low in confidence, a club in chaos, and players wanting to leave. As you know, I am also fed up of keep swapping managers when ultimately in my opinion, the problem is the owners. [Post edited 9 Feb 23:31]

Juric on 07:38 - Feb 10 with 291 views | City_boy | If we still had something to play for, I would understand resting some off the players, but we don't. This was an opportunity to play the best 11 to get them playing how Juric wants, and put in solid performance and structure, rather than 11 misfits looking all over the place. As for next year, it will be a struggle. One positive, is that we don't have to worry about any players being poached or seeking a move. Other than. Fernandes and Ramsdale, they can all go and we start again. (assuming we keep funds to re-invest from sales and it doesn't go to Goztepe ) [Post edited 10 Feb 7:39]
