You said he would sit tight and would sit out his contract. He is not that sort of player. Swansea have to wheel and deal and get him out the door.

I don't blame him for leaving to those cheating barstewards.

They might go up automatically (doubt it) but will probably have a crack via the play offs.

Respect the people who keep the lights on. The fans group could have cashed in for £21m in 2016 and be real players but wanted " protection" instead FFS. They now have a little protection but may have to perhaps watch their lip.

£2m would be better.

For God's sake just let it go. You are just trying to be a WuM for the sake of it. Tedious in the extreme.

I refuse to " let it go". I am not surprised you are sick of it. When push came to shove "Swansea fans" choked.

They were wimps afraid of the responsibility of having clout. When there is £21m in the bank you have to be professional and take the crap just like Coleman and co. They did not fancy it.

He’s not agreed yet, info is his personal terms need addressing which means he won’t be going anywhere just yet. Swans want the money for the transfer all paid up front. But as FB stated it’s a matter of time.

FB was talking about Sheffield United with no mention of Swansea or its owners and you turn it onto the trust. Criticism is entirely justified.

Let's hope we get Low in before we release Darling, otherwise WW may capitalise on our desperation and try to hike the price even further.

(1) Sign Low
(2) Sell Darling (500k+ minimum more than what we sign Low for due to his experience at this level)
(3) Make sure there's some great add-ons included so we get a bumper pay day when they're promoted and when he's next sold on!

Actually, when push came to shove, they came together, teamed up with Jenkins and co and forced Petty out of town before he could asset strip us to the bone.

Be grateful you have a club to support.

I would never tell anyone else what to do but personally when he ranst about the trust I just ignore him now.

If the Blades want to pay 1 million up front for Darling then he can go. I'm surprised at it but if they have money to burn then ok. As things stand it actually makes it a bit easier for us.

My biggest concern is still Williams. If we cannot afford to sack him then put him on gardening leave but he simply can't stay in charge. I'd rather Sheehan had a go than suffer this nonsense.

Agree, I'm surprised also. I believed what I was told about Birmingham in the summer. £2M signing on fee spread over the 4 year contract @ £10K a week. On top of a 20/30/40 salary depending on the league one/championship/Premier, I genuinely thought he was taking it. Then again perhaps Sheffield have matched it.

How can a conversation about Harry Darling in 2025 move to the Swans Trust in 2016.
The repetition is so boring & cannot be helping the site overall.
You made the point numerous times and it is just derailing good conversation and debate.

Back to the OP - aren't Sheffield United looking at a defender from Ipswich Town so Darling may not be heading there anytime soon?

Concerning your first paragraph, he should we given a warning, it's tedious and doesn't achieve anything.

I just wish he would return from whence he came.

The Ipswich player is a full back, so perhaps they are after 2
