Must be unique in recent football Amazing he made 250 appearances, just unfortunate for him it was when we were totally crap. Has he had the Forever Rs treatment, sounds like he deserves it on that basis? Plus remember an amazing last minute winner against Brighton away when they played on that sports centre ground. How things change in 20 years

What you fail to mention is whilst Matthew made 242 appearances for QPR, this was over a 10 year period, and many were sub appearances. This averages at 24.2 games a season so in essence Matthew was injured for half a season every season for 10 years. Indeed, he only managed to make over 30 appearances in just one of those 10 seasons. He was even injured for the play-off final. So, yes, he was definitely injury prone. However, he did score a last minute cracker at the Withdean which I'll never forget. The temporary away stand felt like it was going to collapse.

If Chair plays tomorrow... on 09:07 - Jan 7 with 376 views | davman | Modern day legend. Would love him to become a one club man, but I guess many on here would say he's holding on to the club for far too long. Even when not on song, his desire to constantly show for the ball, bust a guy to get back to help and hiw he keeps hold of the ball utterly changes our team's dynamic. No coincidence that lil' Kenny has finally started to play now he has Illy in front of him. New contract soon (please). Let others develop to be flogged; Chair needs to stay...
