Well done π 13:12 - Dec 4 with 3105 views | KeithHaynes | Resβs poll was removed. Again, I ask that criminal and civil libel isnβt posted on this website. Plus adverse comments on individual choices. If that doesnβt suit you, then PM me and we can remove you from the website. The network referred one defamation post yesterday to the appropriate people, clearly today this poll wasnβt going to run its course because of a lack of respect to our charity, the website and our aims to make this a child friendly environment.

Well done π on 10:46 - Dec 5 by ReslovenSwan1 | I am an open person and give my opinions. Keith felt the poll was not in the interests of his charity. Fair enough. If people behave stupidly I tell them. If people sing ethnic slurs I do not giggle. We live in a democracy. All subjects in my view can be discussed bar none. The subject was a hot football topic but too hot for this site which is fair enough . [Post edited 5 Dec 10:51]

The way I read it, it wasn't the subject that was the problem, it was the way you posted that was the problem. A lot of people, in your opinion, have behaved stupidly and you have insulted people by the thousand. What others see as ridiculous and to be laughed at, you take far too seriously. Life is too short to get so upset by nonsense words sung at football. If the police aren't taking action, then why are you so incensed?

The issue is a current hot football topic and is too hot for this site which has charitable objectives. The subject of ethnic slurs is also too hot for this site. I take being Welsh seriously. If you are not personally and professionally proud is it not a problem for you. If you did a similar slur about English people you will get jumped on and called puerile quite correctly. I am not actually upset. It is engrained in the Welsh psyche unless associated with the threat of violence. The police are told who are important to protect and who are not. They are not looking for extra work while the locals sing along and join the fun in a jolly cowardly fashion. Is the club still promoting " zero tolerance".? [Post edited 5 Dec 22:42]

The club should ask fans to consider their anti-English chants. We have English fans. And we have English players. The Severn Bridge song is embarrassing. A Swans "legend" once asked me why Swansea fans chant anti-English songs when 8 of the team at that time were English (mid 00s).

The Severn bridge is not an ethic slur. It is just a song of dislike. It does not suggest English people are bad in any way. There is no reason for English players to be offended. It is not against UK law. The anti Welsh songs are embarrassing too but no one is says so. They are in my mind illegal. If the subject is not offensive why have I been told the " subject" is harmful to this site' s charitable cause?

So in your strange and weird world singing songs like "Same old English, always cheating", "They mucked it up ...", " We hate England" and also "Run from the Russians" are fine and dandy, even though they are racist in their nature and content and provocative, which is itself a criminal offence as it can incite trouble. Yet Welsh fans singing about themselves ( they do not sing "Sheep ... we know what we and every other Welsh person are", they sing "We know what WE are" and in doing so sing purely about themselves. So how is it illegal or racist to sing such things about yourself ? If I was to make remarks calling someone with a mental condition "a nutter" I was rightly be condemned as discriminatory towards people with mental issues. However if I said "I'm a nutter I am" , then I would either be in need of medical attention or perhaps advised that it is not the best way to describe oneself ?

Calling fan's Wurzels is though. Bristol fans sing that they can't read or write but can drive a Tractor - believe it or not I think most of them can read, and most can't drive a tractor. At least competently. Other clubs have similar but I'm not going to go in to them. I've never had sex with a sheep. It doesn't remotely offend me. I find it a bit pathetic that that's the best they've got. On the subject of embarrassing chants, "England f***ed up" has got to be up there, they did so a lot later than Wales.

You are never in the ground to hear the chanting. I suggest that you attend a game and if offended report it to a steward and make it official. Sprouting off on here will do nothing.

I am not offended and am not that concerned. I just point out out s pseudo racist or at least ethnic slurs. Hypocrisy gets me. Posters are full some in their support for the likes of Raheem Stirling in face of similar slurs from East Europeans and demand the stadium be shut down. The club used to promote " zero tolerance". If you favour "opon house" please spare me the hypocrisy for black skinned players. One famous rugby player who supports Swansea once agreed to tour South Africa where black players were not allowed to play. It was possible that the Lions selectors had that in the v back of their mind when the selected the touring squad. [Post edited 6 Dec 13:18]

How is it either racist or an ethnic slur to call someone from Swansea a sheep botherer? How is it comparable to making a monkey chant at a black player?
Well done π on 13:30 - Dec 6 with 700 views | Joesus_Of_Narbereth | Can you ask Bungle if heβd be willing to settle out of court? I am willing to apologise for referring to him as an effeminate and rotund ursine who regularly acts with extreme pomposity when promulgating zippyβs naughty behaviour to Geoffrey. None of the above is true and I apologise sincerely, wholeheartedly and unreservedly to the annoying furry chubster.

Asy you well know it is a Welsh thing. The deflection continues. It is directly comparable.

Only if you make it a Welsh thing. I don't know a single person Welsh or otherwise who will admit to having sex with a sheep. How is it directly comparable? Nobody has ever called me a sheepshagger or made a Baa noise at me when I've been anywhere.

I've been to the Royal Welsh and seen some really attractive specimens, when they are cleaned up they can turn an eye. A bit like Neath valley girls.

How can you compare people singing songs where they themselves are the only target to people being racist to people of another race, creed or colour ? The two are worlds apart
