If the Head of Performance phones it in (quite literally), why shouldn’t all the “Performance” staff? Why shouldn’t the players?

This is the sort of leadership stuff Nourry demonstrably is miles out of his depth on. Standards. Accountability. Clarity of message.

I bet there are posters up all over the training ground stating these exact words as well. They may want add one that says "Practice what you preach".

It’s a symptom 90% of the squad seem to have.

Props to Nardi, Cook, Dunne, Morgan and Lloyd ….. showing a bit of grit for the cause.
Takes me back to the “Ryan Nelson…. He plays on his own” days.

And Field, LBlock. He does not hide. He’s there week in week out and every match is competing. He may be limited in possession but he always tries.

If you were being cynical (I am) then you’d have to say this lack of information is to avoid accountability, not so much competitive advantage as competitive hiding….

As previously said if the boss is doing it in the office then when why shouldn’t the players do it on the pitch?

So that’s how you get a midfielder with zero attempted tackles I suppose

That first line is so spot on. As I've been saying since the summer, there is no 'competitive advantage' in all this hiding of contracts, hiding the manager away, keeping people in the dark. It's just hiding. Hiding what you're doing, hiding what Cifuentes is thinking.

And Madsen’s style of play is a living embodiment of this!

Yes if you were hiding 3 strikers all banging in goals for fun and choice of 8 midfielders some of whom had different strengths then I suppose there could be some advantage in theory. Of course if we had this then we’d have no issues but

Otherwise it’s all a bit… why’s Mary in the cupboard, does she like it in there, is she adjusting the doors, fitting a new light or just having a good old fashioned rest

Careful against sacking Marti when so many are injured.
Hudders did this to Moore, and they went down.

If they had stuck with Moore when the injured players returned, they would have been alright as he was getting some draws (similar to Marti) while they had half the squad out (like we do now).

Yes mistakes have been made, but Marti usually learns from them. I doubt Santos will be used in any fullback position anymore. I expect to see Saito at LWB now.

Playing Andersen and Madsen at the same time he has tried to avoid and when he did it against Boro as Chair was injured, it failed again. He will try and avoid that. I suspect Llyod could start as he may want to try hold out against Leeds and do breakaways as what else can you do with that squad right now?

We shall play like PNE and try and grind out results Ainsworth style as that's all we can do until the injured players return or Jan appears oin the horizon. Its batten down the hatches and watch desperately dull football.

zzzzzzzzzz

Since when do we even do breakway/counter-attacking football? We don't really do anything right now.

Poll: What should the club do now (assuming no imminent change of owners)?

It’s not rocket Science what you need to have to do well in this league. Warnock had the right balance. Proper pros who knew this league with the magic of Tarabat. We signed a whole group of players who have never played in the Championship. Most of them came from mediocre leagues. Many of them were absolute tiny and physically not ready for this league. We have been found out and Nourry’s data signings have been an utter shambles. I cannot fathom how the board with all their wealth have given so much power to someone who looks like they’re on work experience at the club. It’s utter shambles. Andy Belk is a big part of the problem as well as we are stuck with so many of these players now. How are we going into games at this level with the current squad that we have? How do they honestly think we will get to 50 points? How have they allowed the Head of Fitness and Performance to work from abroad in Dubai given our current situation. It’s an utter embarrassment.

I’m worried we might not get to 30 points never mind 50.
We are that poor.
