The beefiest ever QPR player 06:44 - Oct 12 with 8325 views | oldmeadoniansR | Who is the most Beefy player you have seen play for us? I mean broad shouldered barrel chested. I'm not thinking Alan Mcdonald as too tall or Sammy Lee as too small but I am thinking Robbie James. Anyone else out there to challenge this prime Welsh beef?

Whom we scarcely saw as a pro footballer - less than 50 games for us in 8 years, and that was his career done. Bizarre! Wonder what he did with his retirement.

The beefiest ever QPR player on 20:01 - Oct 12 with 2173 views | CateLeBonR | I never saw him play for us but Dave Webb looked like a bit of a unit.
The beefiest ever QPR player on 20:13 - Oct 12 with 2149 views | oldmeadoniansR | shittu was a unit but not sure he was Beefy. But I think I am judging beef as natural build rather than gym build. Biggest unit for me would be Shittu. That guy who did that rugby tackle what was his name. I think possibly stocky rather than Beefy. It is all semantics I suppose.

The beefiest ever QPR player on 16:12 - Oct 12 by QPROslo | Did you measure their girth and hight? Or weigh them all? |
Yeah, I hate it in when people waltz into conversations, proclaiming to be the font of all knowledge and having the final say, without even acknowledging the parameters by which they have tried to impose their unilaterally decided decision on us. It's a free speech issue, an attack on the liberty of all the users on this board, especially when the answer is clearly Robbie James, who had an advantage from birth, being Welsh and being subjected to THAT diet. I don't think it's coincidental that the person trying to stifle the debate is probably 'one of them', or Welsh, as we say in polite conversation. He's got a vested interest in this and should have recused himself from the start. [Post edited 13 Oct 8:47]

Good call, and the times he did make an appearance it was in front of a rather hefty Phil Parkes.

The beefiest ever QPR player on 12:24 - Oct 12 by BrianMcCarthy | For me too. Seriously out of shape. |
Bit harsh Brian. I saw him as "barrel chested" as oppose to out of shape. He wasn't slow. Was still a bloody good player for us. Looked no different to Jan Molby imo. [Post edited 14 Oct 14:55]

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought he was poor and immobile, W7. He wasn't old but he had a lot of games played by the time he joined us, so maybe it was wear and tear. He's passed away now so I'll leave it there.
