There seems to be something not right with the squad. New players maybe not fitting in? Definitely something wrong. Let’s hope Marti can sort it out.

Physicality. Lack of.

Must be time to get a few fans in the dressing room to tell how sh!t we all feel when they don’t seem to even try or care. Gee them up a bit.

Well, as they're in there, we might as well go all in and....

Given the posters at my disposal, has to be a 4-3-3 formation. However, as I'm sure everyone would agree: dropping Disco to the 10 with licence to thrill and going two up top with Danny and Nipper Aston is just too delicious a prospect to not use as and when.

I think its time for the Haka.

No.

But we're looking to send you out on loan. Currently, there's some interest being shown by North Greenford F.C.

Probably nothing, but one thing I noticed on Saturday, and commented on to my mate, was all the Derby subs were on the pitch at half time warming up, while ours were all back in the changing room.

Then the Derby players all seemed to come back out for the 2nd half with a purpose, followed by our lot a couple of minutes later who just seemed to amble out in dribs and drabs looking highly uninterested

Personally feels a bit like Marti has loosened the intensity to bed in a new style rather than the do or die mentality forced by our relegation woes last year.

I also think it can't be understated how much we miss JCS

You can't have Bazza anywhere near the right wing.

I've got the Power.

Naturally, but we expect him to cut in more, creating space for Spaceman_P to invert more from the right... As you can see, its been thought through as we're also expecting Barry to lurch more to the centre ground during the course of this parliament.

Some people on here have said we are failing to do the basics at the moment.

I wonder if some coaches are loathe to cover that sort of stuff because they and/or the players find it dull.

Given how poor our shot conversion, tracking back, and tackling currently are, perhaps we need to put some focus, or more focus, on them in training.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

In this system he's an inverted right winger. Champagne socialist if you will.

We are failing with the basics, which is why I think scapegoating individual players is somewhat missing the point (while acknowledging that some players have not been at the required standard).

We surrender space when we don't have the ball and time when we do. Positional discipline has been poor - there were numerous instances in the last game when we had two challenging the opponent with the ball and no one covering the opponent's nearest team mate, leaving the easy pass wide open. With the roles reversed the Derby players did the obvious.

Again in the Derby game it was noticeable how many times there was a low risk forward pass on and the ball went back or sideways, which both gave up the opportunity to get up the pitch and invited further pressure in our own half.

Bargain basement hunting (the Champ surely offers higher wages than the leagues we've taken from) is going to carry risks, but that doesn't explain the lack of application in our play. The Champ may be an attritional bastard of a league but it's also one in which the archetypal well-drilled but moderately talented side will hold its own. We are the very antithesis of that well-drilled side at the moment.
