Clive will be along in a minute to set you straight...

Line up of QPRs worst ever eleven on 13:57 - Oct 7 with 1491 views | NewYorkRanger | Gus Caesar first name on the team sheet. A bit surprised to see Mark Dennis mentioned here - obviously a bit of a liability discipline wise, but as a player I thought he was decent. I'd say Ned Zelic has a strong case for making the starting line up too. Dena Coney in with a shout too. Hateley for being a massive bell

Line up of QPRs worst ever eleven on 10:58 - Oct 7 by Sonofpugwash | Brian Williams. My fingers trying to refuse typing that name. |
Possibly the first name on this team sheet but I still feel sorry for the guy. Signed from third division Bury it was immediately obvious that the step up was too big for him. I remember an evening game at Loftus Road where he was so poor that he was subbed during the first half. He cut a forlorn figure trudging off the pitch with a chorus of loud booing ringing around the stadium. Fortunately, he went on to enjoy a successful career in the 3rd and 4th divisions. My memories of Karl Ready were that he started off as a decent player but after a few seasons his form dropped away. Like Roberts and Dennis not deserving of a place in this team. As for mentioning Willock I presume that was a joke!

Wow Karl Ready? Really? I remember him getting nothing but derision. Ready and Yates - a centre back partnership for the ages. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I always thought Brucey was punching well above his weight but credit to him, he never hid. I met him a couple of years ago and he's a lovely fella - huge Rangers fan, does really good work with his own coaching setup.

Roberts and Ready played over 350 games for us, loads of which were in the top league. Neither were great but clearly we’ve had way worse in their positions: examples below. Matt Ingram, Sieb Dijkstra, later career Joe Lumley. Gus Caesar, Bob Malcolm, John Curtis, Ernie Howe. I’d also add Jordan Cousins to the list.

Agreed Karl ready and Tony Roberts gave me sleepless nights but not sure they should be on the worst of all time. Ready played for wales quite a bit! Can’t have been that awful

did Seib Dykstra actually make a first team appearance? I went to every game home & away back in those days & I don't have any recollection of ever seeing him play!!

Line up of QPRs worst ever eleven on 20:37 - Oct 6 by terryb | I'm not including loanees ( Priskin, Samba & Assou-Ekotto would be definites), so I have only five names to contribute. All from a time long ago! Ron Springett (second time around) - I realise this will be very contentious. Karl Elsey Victor Bloody Mobley (captain) Bobby Finch - still not forgiven for his sending off at Peterborough in the first round of the League Cup 1968 Brian Williams - not my least favourite player (that is Mobley), but without doubt the worst player to have worn the hoops Thomas Docherty would be the man in charge, but that is due to personal dislike rather than that he was our worst manager. I still marvel that we employed somebody who I regard as a lower being than Harold! [Post edited 8 Oct 9:23]

Mobley was a very good player. Unfortunately he was was crocked when he signed for us. Not the players fault, that’s on th club.peter springett never played for us twice, do you mean Ron?

Which Connolly: Matthew or Karl? Surely not Matthew who did a solid job for us, and Karl Connolly did alright as well as far as I remember contributing a number of goals from the wing.

I certainly do! I will edit. Mobley was a good player for Wednesday but utter shite for us. We lost the court case where we claimed he had been sold to us under false pretences.

Played 12 times on the spin from late October to just after Christmas 1994. Coco had been in goal to start with, then Dijkstra was picked for those 12 games and then dropped for the 'We were there when Jensen scored (and Gallen, Allen and Impey)' game at Arsenal on NYE. He never played for the first team again possibly due to conceding 23 goals in those 12 games. We won five, drew two and lost five of those. Surprised you didn't remember the 4-0 at Blackburn (Shearer hat trick) game which was one of them. [Post edited 8 Oct 9:53]

Winning player of the year in 1998 is like being the best member of Steps. Wherever you end up you're still shit as f**k.
| Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. |
