Should you be fined for speaking truth?

Or maybe he was speaking about RM?

Or himself?

Dwarf 4th Officials? They’re not big and they’re not clever

Mind you, it could have been worse if Captain Jack, in the heat of the moment, had indulged in a bit of dwarf hurling, a-la Mike Tindall, and lobbed the 4th official over the benches into Row J of the Itchen!

It is amazing how times have changed. Back in 1978, if you change the middle word of Captain Jack’s outburst from little to Brazilian then you have what the infamous refereee Clive Thomas allegedly called FIFA President João Havelange after he booted him out of the 78 World Cup Finals for disallowing a Brazil goal by blowing the whistle for full time with the ball in mid-delivery from a corner kick. Zico scored but Thomas was having none of it, marching off the pitch waving his arms to signal no goal and pointing at his watch. Brazil would have won 2-1,but as a result drew 1-1. When confronted post match by Havelange and given his marching orders Capt Jack’s (edited) outburst was his alleged initial response.
