Allen back in Wales contention? on 23:06 - Sep 26 by Dr_Winston | It would make absolutely no difference in any way, shape or form to Swansea City if Wales lost 10-0. Only five players (out of 27) of the current first team squad are Welsh. Ten are English. Eleven if you count Vigouroux. What would benefit the Swans is if many of their players weren't dragged off multiple times mid season to play games that have no value to us for organisations that don't pay for the privilege. |
I have an inkling that you have other blood in you. An Englishman perhaps. So understand why you don’t follow your adopted country.

Make your mind up. In one sentence you said you would happily see Wales lose 10-0 if it benefited the Swans. Then in the next you say it would make no difference to Swansea if Wales lost 10-0. Bedtime for you perhaps. You have got confused.

Allen back in Wales contention? on 22:55 - Sep 26 by Dr_Winston | Yes they are. Couldn't care less what you think. Come crying the next time a Swans player is unavailable because he got injured earning FIFA/UEFA money, |
Would have a much greater impact on us due to the abysmal state our owners have left our squad in. Most championship clubs could cope without the likes of Cullen or Cabango for a month. It would decimate us. As for Joe Allen, I’d hope he doesn’t put the extra strain on his body. Wales is important to me, but he’s one player who could do without increasing his workload. I can understand the pull of representing your country though.

And there's the little bit of nasty nationalism that is always there with these types, just usually well hidden until they're provoked. The irony being of course none of them are 100% pure Welsh either if you go back far enough. For the record, one grandad from Northampton. The rest all Welsh.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Allen back in Wales contention? on 22:09 - Sep 26 by Whiterockin | Cooper seems a better player with more confidence since his international game. |
I think getting a run of games in a position he is more suited to and in a team that now seems to have a settled midfield line up with a better mix of defensive qualities has helped Cooper and it helps to get Grimes further up the park. I now want to see the older Grimes now being the one protected and getting 70mins with Allen replacing him leaving the younger Copper and Franco on the pitch longer keeping the intensity of play in the midfield up. The intensity needed throughout needs to be maintained or managed allowing a number of key players such as Eom and Ronald down time, include the likes of Key who has had muscle injuries that need to be protected. The use of squad players with the next three games close together will come into focus and a fit Allen is a must and Abdulai's use would be nice to see in his so called proper position but as the manger.màkes his substitutions it must keep us on the front foot while keeping us defensively strong.

You really do get rattled on any thread regarding Wales. Perhaps it's the Northampton in you. I couldn't give a stuff about you or where you are from. You are not important.. I support Wales, you don't. Oh Vienna.

Allen back in Wales contention? on 13:12 - Sep 27 with 715 views | ReslovenSwan1 | If Joey signs up with Bellers some might argue given his wages and performances for Swansea he is taking the club for a ride. In my view he has expressed in love for the club in his words but not his actions. His biggest love in club football was Stoke City. It is obligatory to love Liverpool to avoid grief from their entitled fans. This is not a wind up. If Joey is committed to Swansea then it must be a no. If it is a yes "I rest my case your honour". There is a strong Anglophile slant on here. There is nothing wrong with this actually. It belongs to the old valleys culture who were Welsh but turned their TV aerial to HTV West to avoid the Welsh language shows before S4C was formed. Welsh nationalism is not nasty like English nationalism is.Thwrs are not exceptions of course which all pro Welsh people condemn. Supporting Wales is not a threat to anyone. Allen for Wales is a backward step especially as the games now are the Nations league designed for giving younger players a chance. Bellers pulled star man Colwill from the u21 and he did not kick a BBC all.

Personally I am more connected with my home town football club than the country . That’s just me I do feel more connection with national rugby team. That’s also me . I still get very upset when my football team loses I get more angry when Wales rugby team get humiliated than the football team. Also me No need to understand nor r plain. It’s just how one feels I can’t understand the endless anti rugby narrative and the oitiful “ egg” drivel. I can’t understand why welsh people laugh when losing at rugby .

Let's see how much Joey loves Swansea city. I have explained to you that his decision will be very revealing. I put it to you playing for Wales is definitely not in the interest of the club unless he goes to the World cup for the fee (insight). Most fans agree with this statement. He is not 24 like Ollie Cooper. Playing again for Wales = Swansea City is NOT my chief love and never was

You must be real confident "Lovely boy Joey" will reject the offer right?. Watch this space. It is a real time loyalty test. We all know playing for Wales is bad for Swansea at 34. At 24 it is great as with Ollie. [Post edited 27 Sep 16:45]
