Well done Welsh Govt on 16:08 - Aug 2 with 1437 views | Whiterockin | Cut the speed limit to 10mph and you could improve the figures even more. It's all about a sensible approach which the Senedd have failed to grasp although they are now backtracking. Nobody objects to 20mph where it is necessary, it's the default speed limit that is the issue. Until the statistics are able to prove exactly where the numbers have decreased the survey is pointless to say it is in 20mph and 30mph means it is most of Wales.

Or ban cars altogether and get road deaths down to zero AND achieve their green agenda objectives as well. What’s not to like.😒

Exactly, it's all about a sensible balance.

What they have done is cut deaths and injuries. That's good enough for me

Easily satisfied and obviously can't see the bigger picture. Spend the money getting NHS Wales up to standard and more lives could be saved.

A cursory glance over previous years also suggests several double digit drops in the same with no 20mph. It's fairly obvious that certain organisations are manipulating data in an attempt to convince the gullible, and it appears to be working.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

You either have to be extremely gullible or a complete idiot not to see through it. [Post edited 2 Aug 18:16]

Exactly, reprehensible behaviour, the opposition parties should be all over this data, It also highlights the problems with biased journalism.

Well done Welsh Govt on 20:10 - Aug 2 with 1103 views | felixstowe_jack | No mention that roads deaths In Wales actual increased by 10% last year. Once again it has proved the most dangerous roads in Wales are single carriageways A and B roads with 60mph limits. Wonder why the Welsh government figures are so selection only January to March. Why no figures from September to December? You need at least a years figures to even get a rough estimate and to see long term trends. Low figures in first three months could be due to mild weather no snow or ice.

Less deaths and trauma will save the NHS money and resources. Come on, it's not rocket science

It has barely affected mee at all. I welcome this change IF IT WORKS and hope they will continue to gather data for the long term trends. If the changes are minimal then there are reasons to scrap it. It was presumably introduced after data analysis from other places.
