Shocking news coming out, there have been multiple stabbings, and it's been declared a major incident

Sadly it seems to be a children's holiday club

It’s true
I read suggestions as to what to do and feel like weeping
It’s almost as bad as those saying” bring back hanging”. More chance of me changing gender and marrying Builthy

“Tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime” was one of the many rallying cries of Blair and New Labour. That was nearly three decades ago now. His successors all gave us similar platitudes. And yet here we are. Thousands of prisoners being released early, convicted criminals being actively imported. Feral knife wielding gangs roaming every inner city in the country selling drugs with impunity. Children being stabbed left right and centre. Drugs changing hands with impunity. Shoplifting is now essentially legal as long as you nick less than £200. Girls getting raped in their thousands by grooming gangs. Burglaries going uninvestigated.

It’s been an utter failure really. Hug the hoodies didn’t work, ASBO’s were a badge of honour rather than a punishment. This notion of rehabilitation will only ever work with those few criminals who actually WANT to be rehabilitated. The whole thing needs tearing up and starting again. We need to start smashing criminals. Prison should be the last place in the world anyone would ever want to end up. It’s not difficult to go through life without stealing, raping, assaulting and generally being a dick. People who commit crimes should be made to pay, they should have everything taken off them.

Vote Joesus.

I heard lovely Yvette say they needed more bobbies on the beat to deter shoplifters .
Honest to God

Last night was the opportunity to show Rats that the sewer is best for them and not to come out unless they want to be stamped on . I’d stamp a few myself .
We could have sent a clear signal to all that we are not going to tolerate trash

I can only tell you the lads and lasses over there are very angry

Nope.

I'd like to see all criminal sentences being served on an aggregate basis.

No. Good old fashioned play until there's a winner. Or loser is probably more apt

I'd like to see this farcical situation of criminals pleading guilty and receiving a 50% reduction on their sentence scrapped.

Falling for the narrative once again, easily fooled are some

The EDL stopped being a thing in the early 2000's

Just like the term far right, it's used to shut people down.

The rioters are local divs

According to the locals in Southport they are not locals. Many accents heard but not local ones.

If they were asked why they did it they would say the usual we want our country back. And they'd claim to be patriots. What they actually are is thugs, criminals. They are certainly not patriots.

A huge number of them will have been caught on camera and will hopefully be rounded up and jailed.

Right then I may be mis-remembering but...

If I recall Theresa May did the "right thing" with the water-cannons as they were (allegedly) unsuitable for Britich streets (maybe just London streets).

They weren’t locals

Here is a video from one of those auditor @rseholes come gratuitous nuisance nutjobs, but I will provide the link for this video, because it shows exacly what brave cops have to face at times. He did the police a huge favour on this occasion. An intellegence resourse also.

Surrounded and trapped facing a baying mob whilst undermanned and under equipped. Please some tear gas, rubber bullets, riot shields, helmets, horses , water cannons and the whole damn lot. Approx 20-30 cops facing hundreds.

9:37s onwards in video show that it must have been an absolute terryfying experience.

In the ever increasingly likely event of world war 3 these patriots should be the first sent to the front line during operation: human shield.

Been working today and it’s only now I’m catching up with things. It must have been horrendous for those officers last night, quite a few have sustained physical injuries and I suspect we will see quite a few develop psychological trauma over the next days, weeks, months and years. It’s outrageous that those officers were left facing a raging mob without the PSU PPE (helmets, shields etc etc) and serious questions need to be asked about the way it was policed. People need to be help to account.

Over and above that, when dealing with this type of disorder a warning should be given and anyone who doesn’t clear the area in my opinion should be regarded as fair game. Unless you’re looking for trouble there’s no way you’d be standing so close to the police lines.

Edit - correct typo
