I’d imagine the cost went up from the 89 million in 2019.

Keep voting for Labour in Wales fellas.👍

They haven't had a bus station for years. Looks good fair play. It will be an asset.

Asset to whom though ? HS2 is rightly condemned by us the Welsh and yet some think spending much needed money on yet another Cardiff centric vanity project is OK. The workings of the mindset of some Welsh is certainly a strange one.

HS2 didn't benefit Wales, but Cardiff is in Wales so it benefits Wales.

I would hazard a guess that 90% of the Welsh population never get to use Cardiff bus station, particularly when the majority of Cardiff busses will not use the facility, so much for benefiting Wales.

Would you be happy if that investment had been given to Swansea?

£100M on a 15 bay bus station in Cardiff is just ridiculous, as an example of size the quadrant has 20 bays.

I think the millenium stadium was built for 140 million . Even allowing for inflation it puts things into perspective.

The price might include the land purchase which is prime inner city. WRU already owned the Arms Park presumably.

The Empire Pool was also prime city centre land that needed to be acquired to build the Millennium Stadium.

The bus station is in the same location as the old one, although CC sold some or the land as the new station is smaller.

The redevelopment/new bus station also includes office space, shops and over 300 apartments. I’d suggest that is where a significant chunk of the money has been spent.
