Bristol Pub 13:47 - Feb 16 with 1906 views | NW11R | Afternoon everyone - Know the official pub is the cricket club by the ground, but anyone else know of any good places friendly to away fans pre game, preferably one convenient from the station? Cheers
Bristol Pub on 14:36 - Feb 16 with 1831 views | Konk | Pubs where you won't get in/might not be welcome - anywhere else should be grand: Pubs on West Street and East Street, Masonic, Hen & Chickens, and El Rincon on North Street, probably the Avon Packet on Coronation Road, and Miners. Wouldn't have thought you'd get in the Rising Sun or Coopers on Ashton Road near away end. Bristol Beer Factory tap room/Studio BBF is good and 5 mins from ground. Also on North Street, Tobacco Factory is decent, and you should be fine in Spotted Cow, Old Bookshop, North Street Standard and Steam Crane. Anywhere in the city centre will be fine. Near ground and the harbour, you also have the The Cottage, Nova Scotia, Pump House, Merchants, and Grain Barge. Closer to Temple Meads, I'd maybe have a pint in the Guinea or Ostrich by the harbour, walk along to the Junction at Wapping Wharf or the Orchard by SS Great Britain. 10-15 mins walk from Temple Meads to King Street, where there are loads of pubs. King's Head and Bridge Inn on way into town from station are good but small. You have the Left Handed Giant tap at Finzels Reach too. Too many good pubs to choose from!

How about the Long Bar or has that gone, full of locals drinking cans of Natch @ a £1 a throw, mobility scooters parked outside.
