Needs to be a discussion had.....

The squad we've got are not bottom 3.

We're getting tactically outmanoeuvred at home almost every time we play.

It's not a lack of experience in the team anymore. A lack of firepower, possibly, but we should be better than this.

Edit, perhaps I should have said our starting xi are not bottom 3. I agree, the overall squad is poor.

Genuinely don't mean to offend, but if, as free transfers, the best Colback and Begovic could get was a team which has been struggling near the bottom of the Championship for some time now, and is more likely to get relegated than promoted, then I really can't see how they were in a position to command a high wage from anyone, never mind one with very little money to spend.

Well we signed Cook a few days after getting a 4-0 hiding off Watford on the first day of the season so make of that what you will.

Probably easier to understand if you actually follow qpr!

Begovic had offers from Luton (Prem) and others. I suspect we had to offer close to what others were offering.

I think it’s been mentioned before, but he has a football academy he runs in Acton. I’d imagine that’s what gave us the edge.

However, lots of criticism (unfairly in my opinion) in hindsight as usual, as everyone celebrated his arrival and Seny’s lack of form for Boro.

If this rumour about Beale wanting to return is true, the club needs to have some self-respect. We can't be employing people who openly treat us with contempt.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

It would make a fantastic story, though, wouldn't it!

There would be gnashing of teeth and wailing... and then, in the Hollywood narrative, Michael Beale turns out to be the right manager after all... Yeah, I know, painful to contemplate... and probably completely ridiculous, but.... Ainsworth or Beale.... well come on, someone's already said it!

We certainly love a pantomime, us football fans, that's true. Not sure if Beale is the big bad wolf or Widow Tw*nkey.

Good post here as usual R from afar. Beale literally pissed down on us from the day he was appointed ( if Clive is correct on the Stoke B.S.) and jumped ship the second his "dream Job ") arrived on his doorstep.
However there is zero debate on who is a better coach between him and GA so that does make an interesting conversation on LFW.
He will not have the balls to even make that phone call to QPR I believe and if he does they should tell him to fcuk off

I don't think 'everyone' celebrated his arrival, did they?

I genuinely cannot believe that Ainsworth has made it to the Huddersfield game.

As I sat there wallowing in my own self pity as Blackburn tore us a new one I reassured myself that would be the last time I would see a team sent out by BA with no plan or pattern of play.

I'd have settled for Paul Hart at that stage.

So in Gareth we trust (one last time hopefully). You never know...miracles can happen!

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

To be fair if BA did send a team out, I would pity the fools that stood in their way.

I too am amazed that Gareth is still here, because you don't survive that kind of defeat off the back of so many poor results and performances. My limited understanding of the ins and outs of football business and how things are done, tells me that something is in the works, something that means that its not yet the right time for a change – and I'm not thinking its because they can't afford to do it.

I'm thinking that we will be either coming under the remit of a new incoming DOF, who will then make decisions on everyone's future.

or

We are in the process of being sold.

The Sheikh who wanted to buy Manure is still knocking about! I'm sure we'd cost a fraction of that.

Or y'know, maybe they're just giving a manager time to see if he can turn things around.

Sounds crazy but apparently it did sometimes happen in the 20th century.

Hey Chef, I'm as positive a person as you'll find, I've long advocated for managers not to be sacked - go back and check, honestly I want GA to work out, I don't think the manager is the problem.

But that result against that Blackburn side was just enough to convince me that its not going to work out for him or us.

We are a toxic mix for everyone involved with the club - top to bottom, nobody is doing well out of this. We need someone to come in and press reset - DOF or ownership.

Fully agree.

With every Blackburn goal that hit the back of the net sent GA scurrying back to the dug out to have a look at the ipad.

I'm hoping he was keeping up-to-date with a box set because he can't have been trying to work out the failing in his designated style of play, defensive plans or which player playing in their proper position was doing wrong.

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

I mean fine, let's sack another manager, let's see who comes in after who wants to come to QPR in its current state and see how well they do.

The manager is not the issue.

Bottom line is I don't think we can actually financially afford to sack the manager so I reckon GA has till the end of the year, and if things are still terrible then the board I think will have to bite the bullet and just accept whatever FFP punishment we get next season (if we stay up).

No I wasn't, fortunately

What I'm saying is all these issues stem from the board/owners. Until they start putting the right people in positions of responsibility and learn from their mistakes, the problems on the playing side will continue.

Or we just get new owners - but they'll probably also have no idea.
