Liverpool fans 17:57 - May 6 with 4289 views | builthjack | Very disrespectful to the King. Booing constantly whilst it was on. “Not our King “ banners all around the ground. What do you think of that?

Liverpool fans on 18:04 - May 6 with 3347 views | Togg | We live in a democracy where we have free speech . Personally I'm totally ambivalent towards the royal family and mostly today I've been wareing my Sex Pistols ' God Save the Queen' T-shirt. I was working in Llechryd, Cardigan yesterday. Loads of Union Jack bunting etc. People have a choice. Some are Royalists some ain't.

Try not to worry this exceptionally privileged guy with his great wealth easy living and excellent health care will help ease the burden of any negativity.
Liverpool fans on 18:26 - May 6 with 3272 views | Badlands | WBA will be singing their anthem on Monday to wing us up. They always do. It will be booed. I sincerely hope the club doesn’t attempt to play the thing in an official capacity because it will be embarrassing. What concerns me far more than expressing an opinion at a football match is the police arresting protesters as they were leaving their vehicles and who had previously been given the go ahead to demonstrate. Enough was written about Russia's police state arresting demonstrators in Moscow as the Ukraine war was getting going. We are no different.

Liverpool fans on 20:50 - May 6 with 3090 views | ModeratorD | Was always going to happen, sadly. It was predicted before the event. Doesn't make it right. Should not be trouble. Those that wish to join in should be allowed to so ( bearing in mind we have quite a few non Welsh supporters in our number) and equally the rest should respect it peaceably

Liverpool fans on 21:45 - May 6 with 3016 views | SullutaCreturned | Are we supposed to show respect to people we don't respect then? Why would that be, because they are our betters and we should know our place? Screw that. I didn't think Socialism and supporting Royalty were good bedfellows. [Post edited 6 May 2023 21:48]

Personally I meant respect others wish to join in or not, rather than respect the monarchy as an institution if it is not what you support ?

We allowed the ridiculous taking of the knee for two seasons without booing it even when most of us disagreed with it. We respected the right of those who did .

Your opinions have always been contraversial but you are of course entitled to them. However to call other people "scum" for having theirs is offensive and disgraceful. I'm surprised the mods have allowed that.

Taking the knee was supporting equality, something the club has been pushing for years. 'Most of us disagreed with it'! You know this, how?

He thinks calling over 40% of the UK population as scum is acceptable. Says more about his own personal standards than anything else.

I think Liverpools fans are well know for thier lack of football knowledge, dignity, respect and seeing themselves as the perpetual victims of their own intolerance.

It was nothing to do with equality BLM was a political movement opposed to the police. It was woke virtue signalling at its worst. Thankfully most clubs have stopped it.
