Road to Wembley thread 10:43 - Jan 3 with 56933 views | RangersDave | Yup, gone early on this one, however....... I'm not so sure Fleetwood will be a pushover, especially with our .... unfit, tired, ill, useless, out of contract soon, (delete as appropriate) players. With that in mind, i'm going 1-2 to the Rangers with Fleetwood scoring first and very early in the match.

We can come out and play like Brazil for half a season then like a switch turn into Barnet for the next half ! I’m fcuking sick if the same old sh!te every fking year , We’re playing like a Sunday league kids team against a team where some cnt can watch the game while sorting out his shed ffs !
Road to Wembley thread on 16:38 - Jan 7 with 3272 views | BostonR | As I said a few weeks ago we re club going nowhere. Been watching since 1973 but the last 3 seasons have been dog-shite. The owners don’t care, the management don’t care, the players don’t care so why should we? The club needs a total re-set. The place stinks of incompetence at all levels.

Road to Wembley thread on 16:34 - Jan 7 by ManinBlack | We never seem to show any desire playing lower league teams in the cups. Looks like another unwanted stat about to be delivered for being the first team to lose to Fleetwood in round 3. At least Queens Park winning 6-0 away so 8 wins on the bounce... |
We soft , I honestly think some of our players don't wanna be here.

Road to Wembley thread on 16:45 - Jan 7 with 2590 views | jtuck | Truly painful watching the 70 minutes Chris Willock spent on the pitch via the ESPN + stream here in America. Seeing it live in Lancashire rain must be far worse. The spry, sprightly 'dancing feet' he usually has when receiving the ball completely absent. He has gone from our best player to one of our worst. I would guess it is a fitness and confidence issue but who knows? Does not deserve place in starting eleven. On the stream in the first half you could hear the Scottish accent of Scott Brown screaming at his team to keep the intensity up and they did.

Well they can just Fukc off. We need almost a completely new team and that's a fact.
Road to Wembley thread on 16:46 - Jan 7 with 2552 views | LimehouseR | Well the BBC final score just showed a clip of us on the attack in the box and their player taking a shocking dive which the referee gave. Typical s**thousery and awful officials. Not taking away our poor performance but we seem to get hoodwinked by every team we play with by the dark arts. It's pathetic and why I don't really watch much football any more, it just makes me angry!

Road to Wembley thread on 16:48 - Jan 7 with 2361 views | loftus77 | The most enraging thing is the BBC and other media outlets terming this a 'Cup shock' or 'Cup upset' . If we had failed to lose today (I'm already using past tense, note....) then the magnitude of the real upset would have been utterly staggering. Disgusting. [Post edited 7 Jan 2023 17:06]

Presumably you were writing the same stuff after the Sheff Utd game? You are better off accepting that most teams and most players at Championship level regard cup games as a mixed blessing. Even if they want to win they won't bust a gut to do it. Not a case of not caring. Not a case of incompetence. It's just that the priority is not there. A total re-set of the club would achieve nothing but chaos.

Well if its a matter of watching this disjointed shit again then I think I would rather watch our U.18's playing (until they get professional contracts and get destroyed by our coaches) [Post edited 7 Jan 2023 16:51]

A real great question from London to Critchley post-match would be: 'if the players don't care, why should the fans?' What are the odds?
