Will the person or persons responsible for bringing this guy to our club please take a bow. Absolutely superb performance today, capped off with a well deserved goal.

Absolute stinking acquisition. Was he on a free or did we have to pay a fee?

Winning towering headers at the back stick was not what I was expecting. He was much more physical today, really growing into the division. Dare we say it the slow introduction by warbs is paying dividends?

Funny how a few months can make such a difference but last summer’s signings look decent business with Willock, Dickie and Dykes all hitting form.

Think Banfield had worked with him at Arsenal.

Wanted to post something similar. Liked him from the moment he came, but he has got better and better and was excellent today.

Still, some punters will have it he's 'not good enough'.

Bare bones.

About £750, 000 was the reported fee I think.

Put a quality spine in the team and be amazed when the skilled players flourish.

Thomas beginning to show signs too. Not sure he’ll ever be more than a decent championship squad player but we’ll need those.

Willock is the player I’m most looking forward to seeing play next season (please god).

I’m sure he spent part of last season on loan at Huddersfield where he may have been spotted.
Very composed in possession but importantly plays with his head up whilst in full flow.

He also asked Adel about QPR, he gave us a glowing report apparently.

Yeh nice post. Think we could all see the talent he has when he came into the side, really starting to flourish now hes filling out a bit and getting used to the division.
Looks a proper player.

A very good signing, like the way he plays and will only get better. Starting to get on the scoresheet as well recently.

As though skilled young players in our price range grow on trees and that people weren't saying the entire summer recruitment drive was a disaster that everyone should be sacked for.

Correct, we have to thank mainly Adel for him coming to us

He was my man of the match today. He spun his marker all afternoon and kept the ball moving nicely, despite being often restricted for time and space. Well played.

Liked him from the start and is improving every game. Am looking forward to seeing him develop further. Warbs and the coaching staff deserve great praise for the way players flourish and improve under them. If you were a young attacking player wanting to get games under your belt I feel we are a very attractive proposition.

Although this is true, it's an Andy Belk (head of recruitment) pick, based on analysis and all that trendy sht. Same with Dickie, George Thomas and Sam Field.

Yes, as mentioned above he is now not shy about putting himself about, in a very physical division he is now knocking defenders off the ball.

He does get better with every game and his ability to drive into the box and play a short cross will be crucial next season, ( let's hope no one is watching).

In passing thought the ref was beyond useless today, just plain poor.

Any chance of getting him on the old Patreon? Would be fascinated to hear a bit more about what he's doing

I hope to be convinced by Thomas - haven't quite been so yet. But Dickie, Field and, of course, Willock have been superb. This season's crop of signings has been the best for many years.

I'm way ahead of you. Trying to be really nice to Paul Morrissey and get that as a summer one.
