He may well have had some help or he may not. But I'm not sure what's hard to believe about a black bloke from a poor background wanting to explain the specific challenges black kids from poor backgrounds face.

Darran thinks a black man is incapable of writing an erudite letter without help.

Marcus Rashford on 12:42 - Jun 16 with 6218 views | Jack11 | Good on him. Seems like Matt Hancock called the footballers out and now one has actually done something the government are hiding. Also, a young black man is really trying to make a positive difference, while the PM is more concerned with the statues of white supremacists. Says it all really. While I'm on my soap box, any Swans fans who can't respect what this guy has done because of his actions on the pitch need to have a serious word.

Anyone with a granule of sense knows that relates to heating. When I first saw it that was my thought and the thought of most normal people too. He is clearly referring to people not having electric or gas tokens but spin it how you like to try to discredit the lad.

I am not spinning anything, what he said was wrong and was corrected. If you go to the trouble of writing an very good letter then at least get the facts right.

Absolutely right. “When you wake up this morning and run your shower, take a second to think about parents who have had their water turned off during lockdown #maketheuturn” Was his tweet. Lack of hot water for a shower was obviously what he was talking about. They just look scummy by attacking him in this way as opposed to arguing their case for not spending the money on the massively disadvantaged. It’s what they do.

Jesus Christ! https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/marcus-rashford-hits-back-at-therese-coffe Edited highlights; "Marcus Rashford is embroiled in a row with the Tory welfare chief after she replied to his free school meals campaign with a "flippant" tweet. The 22-year-old Manchester United footballer renewed calls today for the government to continue free meal vouchers for children over the summer holidays. In a plea to MPs he tweeted: "When you wake up this morning and run your shower, take a second to think about parents who have had their water turned off during lockdown". But Work and Pensions Secretary Therese Coffey replied: "Water cannot be disconnected though." Some tw*ts; "Former BBC journalist Ben Smith said it was "dismissive, flippant, arrogant, detached from reality - all the worst things about modern politics and politicians." Twitter user @rowetta said the "disgusting" tweet should make Ms Coffey "ashamed and sacked" while fellow user Jake Humphrey wrote: "This is a really bad look. Really bad." The truth; "Ms Coffey is right that the law stops water firms disconnecting the supply to people's homes. Try and stay rational is it. "
