IMO...There ain't arf going to be some behind the scenes recriminations from the Yanks after this season is over relegated or not! I reckon even if we stay up gaffer is on his way out!
Millions upon millions of Pounds have again wasted on yet more horrendous signings and the Yanks have been witness to yet another relegation battle, now that isn't something hedge fund investors tend to go for. You know the future potential or risk of a drastic share value slump because of a future profit warning ready to pounce from the shadows if relegated.

I've lost a bit of faith in Carlos myself so wouldn't be adverse to a fresh appointment as long as its a coach of note.
There were certain games like against WBA and yesterday's against the cherries that we needed to show no fear and be positive from the get go, I felt we looked tense even though the game was there for us to win with 2 more shots later if we failed .
I think he's bottled it and that's transferring to the players, what happened to him telling us that he would be angry if players didn't try and do something on the ball ? Yet more safe sideways passing then a pass back to our defenders to hoof it the forwards. |  | | |

Its all business to them,they bought a PL team on the cheap knowing they will make money for the 28 or so 'investors' and if we go down they will stay for 3 years and strip away the parachute payments

Knowing our lot Carlos will get a fresh deal whatever. I'm in agreement with a lot of the posters here I've lost a lot of faith in him. Done exactly what the Wednesday fans said he would do but in half the time.
I don't even know who would want to come to us. I don't want to think about the candidates the Yanks would have lined up.

The decision needs to be made almost straight after the last game as whoever gets the gig will need time to prepare the ground for next season. I think a major overhaul of the squad will be required, but the first consideration has to be which League the club is in.
If the club retains its Premier League status, then I think that CC could get the gig with a promise that he can bring in players who will provide more of a cutting edge. Roberto Martinez could be a shout, but I don’t think he would be able to forge a defence that would be strong enough.
If the club goes down, in the absence of having millions and millions at its disposal to bring quality players, I think the club could go for a tried and tested manager like Cardiff have done. I am not saying these would be my choices but names could include Mick McCarthy, Sam Allardyce, Marco Silva and Ian Holloway. Personally, I would look at getting a good manager from Spain and giving him the time and support to rebuild. Cameron Toshack has done a good job in the academy, but I think it’s a big step up and if I were the American owners I would want to se the parachute payments to support a promotion campaign.
It will be interesting to see who comes through the play offs, Fulham play nice football but I wouldn’t bet against Tony Pulis and Boro. | | | |

surely the players know it's their job to create chances and score goals?
think carlos is getting too much of the blame. and don't always buy the arguments that this is all down to how he sets up. there are 11 highly paid professional players out there who should know that you need to score goals to have a chance.
