1.No point going to Millwall we have Zero chance of winning.
2.The pitch is Knackered(not sure you have seen the amount of rain thats falling)
3.Might as well shut up shop and pop a sign outside the ground "RELEGATED in JANUARY"
4.The Chairman and board have suddenly become the pantomine villans and have given up on the club that was relegated in January.
5.Surely a thread soon regarding sacking our Manager(It cant be far off)
6.A load of ridiculous stupid word threads .
7.The Club is skint and someone is up to no good.
8.All of these are really good reasons to stay off this Forum.

TBF there are plenty who want to be positive ( it has been a tricky few days )

There are obviously some poor WUMs as well - stick them on ignore.

Looking forward to the meeting with the board and hopefully some positive messages to hang onto.

The reality is we have won 4 league 1 games all year as we approach Feb. That's poor in any teams book.

Not down yet but a 9 point deficit does look a difficult gap to bridge.

Some of those points are very valid points though unfortunately. Give us something to be positive about and we will.

I've been pretty vocal all season as to how I feel the club is going and then we bring in a few new players and actually, for the first time in a long time, fancied us to win on Saturday. A feeling of positivity almost. It was short lived when I saw pictures of the pitch looking like Shrek's swamp.

The club isn't in a positive state.

If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor

You could add 10 tweets from the club this morning and not even a mention of Saturday's debacle of the mystery reveal, when the covers were taken off to unveil the mud beneath?

I want nothing but good for the club, but it has to be held to account when under-performing. Haven't enough paying customers deserted already? Not putting right what is wrong is a recipe for going out of business.

I've long regarded this board (and its Rivals predecessor) as a good temperature test (excluding WUM's) for how the average Dale fan feels.

A lot of the frustrations come from our form. A winning ship is a happy ship and let us be honest, we haven't been winning enough even when you take things like our budget into account.

The other piece this forum does is it gives a platform to supporters and feedback to the club and both feed off each other.

As others have said, it would be nice for the output of the Trust/Directors meeting to be reported from both sides this week and then regular communication to try and make things better for everyone.

I can't fault Hill going for 4 out and 4 in this transfer window so far and hope that we are net adders to our squad in the last 9 days of this window.

I agree that the squad needs new faces, but he has failed to address one of biggest weaknesses, the lack of goals and so far he as not signed a decent striker to address this issue.

The game at Millwall is a distraction in my opinion, and we have the potential to stay up if we win the home games we have coming up, so the FA cup is about money and confidence, the games at home to Wigan and away at Northampton is about getting points and sending a message to the other teams at the bottom that we are not dead and buried just yet. I admit my heart is overruling my head to an extent, but we are Dale fans and we have been through worse over the years.

It's the accumulation of many little things that are wrong that I think eventually gets to the most ardent supporter.
I know that to some it will appear trivial but after Saturdays fiasco it was galling to drive past the COA this afternoon and see that our next home match will be against Southend. It just portrays a CBA attitude when much more professionalism is what's needed.

Back when the season ticket promotion was running. I dared to suggest the non refundable £50 deposit with no value unless you paid the balance would put people off. This met with snide remarks about pet projects not being taken up. Fast foward to now and the board are being criticised as having no vision. Here's an idea next years season ticket should be £111 any stand if purchased within a certain time period.

And now the difficult question...Since the season is hardly what might be described as a raging success so far..... what does the club do about season tickets for next year? Some may argue that a genuine lowball offer of £111 is the answer to pulling in the missing thousands (£s and people), but if only 2000 or so get sold as per this year, then the income is massively down(again?) (to £222,000k) this figure does not take into account the number of season tickets getting passed on to mates by disgruntled purchasers. which in turn reduces income from the turnstiles.

A prudent BoD might think that a return to £300 and hope that the faithful 1200 or so will buy one again. (£360K) and stop making offers that the Rochdale public is clearly unwilling to get excited about.

Or will they roll out the £200 season ticket again and pray they sell more than this year and that if we are in L2 at least we might be somewhere near the top, scoring goals and playing entertaining football again in which case there may be more people turning up on the gate through the season. But I think this would be quite a hard sell to many.

Tough call, I suspect the bank balance will dictate the eventual price and even then it is a gamble at best. Unfortunately, I think what the experiment has proved is that there is little appetite for watching RAFC in the town irrespective of prices. The advent of huge amounts of money in the game has not been a leveler, it has simply added to the pressures of trying to remain a Football League club on gates of 2000-3000

I think had the price been set at £110 initially 4000 tickets would have been sold. The initiative was a nice idea but I got the impression of too much of a you first attitude. I think the Rochdale public would have got excited at a season ticket priced at £110 from day one and no scheme involving putting £50 down which could potentially be worthless.

There was a great Australian rugby league coach called Jack Gibson who was famed for his utterances. A sort of Aussie Vince Lombardi if you like.

I always remember him saying that, "a winning team on the pitch will always cover up whatever is going on in the front and back offices".

And it's true. If we had turned our home draws (eg Bury, Northampton, Scunthorpe, Walsall) into wins and were hovering mid-table then a lot of the frustration on other matters would have been left unvented.

Something possitive, late end of 2016 we won twice in the space of two weekends in the big smoke 2 3 at Millwall and then the weekend after 1 2 at Charlton, now at the time we probably thought that was pretty impossible?
Is the task in hand on Saturday a harder proporsition or can we hope for a draw or even a sneaky 0 1 win .kind of reminds me of the year we went to Preston and won and Evil scored that free kick.
