Hasn't played for about 3 months and straight into the squad?? What happened to having a run out for the reserves first ??
Was meant to play for the U23s next week, then Baptiste got himself suspended - roughly translates as we're desperately rushing a player back from a bad hamstring injury again.
Just one of the many daft medium and long term decisions we make all the time because we're constantly pining for a change of manager. Place your manager under constant threat and he makes team selections and signings that help him right now and fck the medium and long term.

Can see why Holloway will do it though, fans ready to turn, lost 4 of the last 5 and in need of a win.
His options for tomorrow are play Bidwell and Robinson at centre half, throw a kid in or risk Ned. Whatever he does plenty will say he was wrong.
He's been back in training a few weeks now so will hopefully be OK.

Absolutely can see why he'd do it. What should happen is people take the pressure off and say "well what can he do with ten first teamers injured" but instead what they say is "I'm getting a bit tired of these excuses about injuries"

On the plus side with Mackie suspended we have a new scapegoat now Ned is back

Ned will probably start out of our desperation for vaguely fit and/or non-suspended defenders.
He'll over-exert himself, his hamstring will go again and he'll be out for a few more weeks (or even months).
Unfortunately that's exactly what I'm predicting as well.... Surely Ollie's going to have to at least call on one of the u-23 players for a place on the bench as back-up, whether Onouha starts or not - do we know if Furlong is back fit yet?

And god help Ollie if he picks up an injury.
It's a bit medieval ducking witch at times.

Probably easier to buy a copy of "Witch" magazine.
Looks like we'll be set up for a draw and thus delaying controversy for yet another week.
Not sure that is such a good idea. Must be a temptation to just go for all out attack, in a "Keegan-esque" approach hoping we will somehow score more goals than we let in.
Ah, just remembered that we aren't that good at scoring goals. Scratch that, I think you're right, aim for the draw.
Never knowingly understood

"QPR fans in ready to turn shock..."
RFA
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."
