The clamour for Mesa 21:12 - Oct 24 with 13491 views | marchamjack | Didn't exactly do his case any favours tonight. Think Clement proved a point there against a Utd second string. Wish it hadn't been so but it was.
| Oh,..Dave, what's occuring? |

Jesus Wept that performance was worse than chris McLean ever played. It was effectivly against a man utd u23 side and he was lighter than paper. no first touch and zero goal threat. has to go in jan shocker.

Not sure if you're joking here. Ollie's first touch was superb and he held the ball up really well. He was totally outnumbered most of the times he got the ball and had awful service and support around him. He did as well as could be expected, considering the above points, and I feel a bit gutted for him to be honest.

The clamour for Mesa on 23:31 - Oct 24 by TheResurrection | You can't blame Jenkins and the Americans for Clement's total inability to coach any sort of attacking fluency. He aint got a clue. |
No but you can blame Beaky for hiring him. And the transfer policy. I do think Mesa looked scared of making a mistake last night and really can play a lot better, as he's shown when on the pitch. Sort of like he knew if he fugged up he'd get no more game time. Or if he didn't it'd be the same outcome anyway. Clucas looked better last night, but both players are well short of game time. At least Ollie the sock is playing most weeks against some good players
| If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious. |

The clamour for Mesa on 10:42 - Oct 25 by jasper_T | What did Clucas do that stood out for you in a positive way? He was awful on the ball, tripping over his own feet more than once. Made a few runs forward? A tame long shot. I was shocked that Leon and the Sky pundit singled him out for praise after the first half. |
Mainly the fact he was trying to make himself available and he wasnt hiding away like some of the other players. He was looking to go forward with his passes, and he always seemed to find another player, which is something that has be missing in a previous games.

""Although I cannot promise or predict the future, I can guarantee one thing - the current board of directors will always fight, as we have done over the last 12 years, to work together as one with the Supporters Trust to make 100% sure that Swansea City football club remains the number one priority in all our thoughts and in every decision we make." | Poll: | Huw Jenkins |

I thought he was meant to be like a passing machine, keeping the game ticking over, etc. Didn't he have a ridiculous number of passes at the Nou Camp last year? Or am I muddling him up with someone else?

The clamour for Mesa on 21:41 - Oct 24 by Tom1912 | Definitely. Can not believe we've spent £11m on a defensive midfielder that needs to work on the defensive side of his game. |
I can't believe we spent 16m (club record) on an even worse midfielder too. Where are we going!!! | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I'd bet his passing stats would be a lot better in a team instructed to play a bit more, get on the ball a bit more and play with a bit of confidence. Clement has coached all that out of the team it seems.

No that was him. Las Palmas were praised last year for the way they played, very similar to how we did with Laudrup first season. Mesa would suit that down to the ground.
