Andy Gray - when we signed him I thought it was the signing of the century after seeing him at palace a few years before , loved the brace against Man utd
Ossie Ardillies - couldn't believe we got him , just seeing him with his socks rolled down and in a QPR shirt was very surreal I know he contributed naff all but it was a very exiting time for a 15 year old lad to have him at the club
David Pizanti- for that goal
Mark stein - goal machine, does anyone recall the volley to west ham at home ?

There was a wonderful piece on Andy Gray and the two goals against Man Utd in the last AKUTRs - pointed out that the crowd was so small (lower loft half empty on the footage) because it was a tube strike night. |
Yeah, that game kicked off at 8.15pm. United had less than 1,000 there and only took one official supporters coach from Old Trafford.
It had been postponed two or three times that season, once as it was going to be played the midweek after Hillsborough.
As the game finished late I thought that i'd only get a couple of beers in after in The Bush Hotel but by some weird fate thing, there was a lock-in! The only time I recall one in there. 28 bloomin years ago.....deary me. |  | | |

Don't think he's been mentioned yet but I thought Andros Townsend had a good little loan spell with us. Bought a bit of pace and quality (end product not necesarily included in with the quality) that had been sorely lacking chipping in with a couple of goals as well. |  |

Brian Williams, he was shît, the crowd knew he was shît, the rest of the team knew he was shît and frankly he didn't disappoint.
Leroy Griffiths, scored that wonder goal against the filth that pre-season friendly when we were at our lowest ebb.
Stuart Wardley, great at moving wardrobes and for a season seemed to be in the right place at the right time.
Samba Diakite, a legend that will be remembered in the hearts of all QPR fans who witnessed that amazing debut against Fulham when he seemed intent on mass murder, shame it wasn't against Chel*** though, now that would have really been funny. | |

Ok,
Mine is Dominic Iorfa, seemed ok in the reserved, scored goals but lost his nerve seemingly when in the first team.
Easily the fastest player I've ever seen at Rangers. 0-60 in 2.3 seconds, but seemed to think the corner flag was where the goal was.
DouDou was great, fast, low C.o.G. and scored the odd goal. Remember his debut at Northampton in the cup when we just turned up thinking we'd won already, but really remember Boxing Day one Christmas against, I think, Burnley, and they couldn't handle him, and decided to put him into row Z getting their version of Shittu sent off for it. I'm guessing there's a distinction between remember fondly only on the pitch or remember fondly all things considered. There must be otherwise Loic Remy would certainly have been mentioned by now. Latecomer to this thread as I've just started a new job that actually requires me to do some work for a change, but I don't think anybody's mentioned Danny Cullip.
We were sinking rapidly before Gregory took over and brought in a few of the "right sorts", none more so than Cullip who had exactly the qualities we needed to stop shipping goals and garner team spirit. The 1-0 win at Coventry was a magnificent team performance, but his presence and celebration at the end are still in my mind. |  | | |
