A few tweets saying this now nothing official though. Also Hogan has had to delete his Twitter account because of people digging up things he said years ago or that's the impression I'm getting from having a quick scan.

Hammers in for Hogan on 22:59 - Jan 4 with 5127 views | RowZ | Does anyone know the exact sell-on percentage (if any) we have on Hogan, or are we just presuming it's the standard 25%?

I meant the transfer isn't true yet - not the fact someone has posted something on twitter.

Article on the Daily Mail has us down as a 30% sell on rate. No idea if true but would be ace if so. http://ift.tt/2hUfyWc

Hammers in for Hogan on 09:40 - Jan 4 by BigKindo | How crazy is it that Everton are prepared to pay out £ 11 million for Ademola Lookman, a teenage left winger and First Division player with only 45 appearances and 19 goals for Charlton? Yet Hammers and others seem reluctant to part with £ 10 million + for Hogan. Brentford have advised Newcastle the asking price is £ 15 million. |
Someone else mentioned it,he's quite a bit younger and hasn't got a history of bad injuries either, possibly not as much a gamble

What do you mean our Twitter feed? I have looked on the official club Twitter feed and cannot find anything about Hogan being sold.

This morning on Talksport the situation was still that the approach by West Ham had been rejected - this was reported by the Moose who is well connected at WH I suppose we will all have to wait until something official is announced.

Lets hope they go back and offer something in-between the 2 figures. I cant see anyone paying £15 million.

Hammers in for Hogan on 12:28 - Jan 5 with 3756 views | D_Dale | I wish Brentford would get it over with and take the £10m. Even after Dale's cut it would represent a tenfold profit on their original 'investment'. The West Ham owners - David Golds and David Sullivan - strike me as a pair of geezers who'd easily lose patience and call off the negotiations.

Disagree, every extra million Brentford get means an extra season we don't have to sell a top player! If they were taking this negotiating position on the 30th of January I'd agree with you, but it's worth waiting a few weeks if it means and extra £1m for Dale. [Post edited 5 Jan 2017 13:14]

Hammers in for Hogan on 13:17 - Jan 5 with 3486 views | fitzochris | It seems the quoted £10 million bid was actually an increased offer from an initial £7 million bid. I'm not sure how much higher West Ham will be prepared to go. At least there's always Leipzig.

It's only the 5th Jan, the window has weeks to run and we are not aware of other clubs officially interested or lining up a bid. Brentford are in the driving seat.

They are indeed. It suits us that they're refusing to accept a fee below their valuation of Scott, too. That said, I would be amazed if he is still a Brentford player after the window closes.

Hammers in for Hogan on 13:44 - Jan 5 with 3326 views | Daley_Lama | If the rough figures are 1M initial fee paid to us 30% sell on clause on profit then 10M = 2.7M to Dale 15M = 4.2M to Dale All ifs, buts, maybees, speculation etc but as back of a fag packet maths go, the increase of 300K per million is very tasty indeed. No chickens counted.

Hammers in for Hogan on 13:46 - Jan 5 with 3304 views | deeplishblue | We can't assume that this is going to definitely happen. The BIFFOs were sure that Micah Richards was going to be sold for £20M - but this never happened and look at them now. Brentford might decide to keep hold. Scott may not want a move There could be a problem with the medical If it does happen then IMO it will be one of the biggest milestones in the club's history. I would think that payment terms would be agreed which would ensure a steady cash boost over a number of seasons - presumably this would shelter us from the Inland Revenue wanting a major slice. There is no board in football who you would trust more than ours to ensure than any sell-on that we do get would be wisely invested. We await with bated breath........
