I do find the views on the Royals odd. They ARE an anachronism in the modern era and I feel that they should probably be as low key and as accessible as many European monarchy's.
I will also say that some of the vitriol spouted against them sounds a lot like penis envy and/or people blaming the faults in their own lives on those are more financially secure. (and yes they are lucky bastards but whose fault is that?...not ours but neither is it theirs) |  |

Or maybe its the unfairness of the associated choices. For example, the richest woman on the planet gets £369 million to cover house repairs - whilst at the same time the spiteful bedroom tax has targeted the most vulnerable in society with 2/3s of the people impacted being disabled people.
The fawning of the BBC has reached levels only seen in North Korea. No more mines and no more chapels, no need for ordinary people to be on their knees anymore.

It can't be much of a life for old Liz and Phil. Well into their nineties and they are expected to turn up to all sorts of pointless engagements occasionally waving to people and having to sit through the Royal variety show forced to watch some Simon cowell peddled talentless bastard's dog do shit tricks.
Their whole lives are dictated by itineraries and schedules. They can't even go outside anywhere in the whole world without having hundreds of cameras shoved in their faces.
