Swans Trust Meeting on 19:51 - Dec 5 by max936 | Still being assessed dear me. |
Exactly. Six months down the line and still nothing decided. Now come on that's enough time to have considered all options and to make a decision. And implement it. Just get on with it fellas.

Swans Trust Meeting on 20:04 - Dec 5 by waynekerr55 | I don't know Dai personally, but I don't think you get to become a partner in a law firm like he has on the back of emotive decisions. Add to the fact that he's a dyed in the wool Jack, I think if anything he'd be more inclined to go for legal action to protect the long term future of the club |
Disagree. Completely. It needed fresh input from a top firm. And thus ensuring that there aren't any possible conflicts of interest or personality clashes with people who have past connections. It's all too incestuous. Get him out of the equation now if a decision hasn't been made yet.

devils advocate question here what if the Trust Board decide to go nuclear and then lost what would be the opinion i.e waste of money, stupid , should have kept the money for a rainy day Surely the last thing we want is to drag the name of OUR football club into the dirt even further after the behaviour of former shareholders If as it appears things have not worked out well off the field then the only thing left is for time to do its bidding and those that behaved as they did will be judged accordingly

I'm in no position to say what they should have done. The Solicitors though should by now have decided what action is required one way or the other.

IT is the balance if probability surely. If the legal advisers think the Trust had a very good case then they should go for it. If it Is in diubt then the cautious approach is best. Nothing is certain in Law but if the odds are stacked in your favour you cannot be damned for trying.

Swans Trust Meeting on 21:05 - Dec 5 with 2622 views | monmouth | As I'm reading it from the EP feed, the Trust have been stitched up tighter than a nun's chuff. Even down to the scum protecting their privileges. If legal action was in any way clear cut it would surely be obvious by now. I fear what we are seeing is the death throes of any vestige of the fans involvement other than as an ignored and outvoted shareholder. It hurts me a lot to write that. As always I hope someone pulls a rabbit out of the hat, but I wouldn't lump on.

From a top firm? You do realise how expensive Russell Square is, don't you? It appears that the best recourse is going balls in on the previous shareholders agreement and taking those cūnts for every penny we can, and ensuring they face criminal action as a result of their deeds.

It needs fresh and totally independent advice from a top firm. Yes I do. Say good bye to Little once and for all.

Maybe some are reluctant to go down the legal action road, for fear of having their dirty washing hung out in the public domain. It seems our club has been run like a cesspit, and if your involved in club activities it's difficult not to get splattered with some sh*t.

Innit. I'm sure the Trust could find a law firm who would give the advice many want "sue! sue! sue!". Doesn't make it the right advice.

It's the die hard fan bit that's the problem though. That's not a positive, it's a definite issue that I wouldn't mind betting is contributing to the procrastination.

If that's anywhere close to the truth then it may suggest that Huw Cooze knew what was going on along if that's the case then its shocking that the other's on the Trust didn't know or realise what was going on. We don't know enough to know one way or the other truth be known. If the sellouts had any lasting interest in the clubs long term future, why stitch the Trust up. They've got to get the fukout and now, this ain't gonna end well for them no matter how many body guards they got.

That's definitely a possibility, personally and I could very well be wrong but I don't think it will go legal, I just don't see it.

Any reason why? I'd wager he has the club's interest at heart. I understand there's been much discussion with barristers who specialise in situations like this. Better to clinically review rather than dive in with both feet.

Six months to review and decide and recommend what action to take. Yet nothing. No advice. Nothing. Meanwhile our team is sinking like the Titanic. Don't be naive. He will have his own interests at the top of his list of priorities. I'm certain that he shouldn't be involved on this.

Having to attend a football match with bodyguards would sort of send a message that they're in rather a precarious position? But there again they're so greedy for VIP status, hospitality, privileges, access to exclusive personal acquaintance/to mix with rich big business contacts....... and to mix with the famous they'd do absolutely anything. The dirty, despicable, grubby, shameless little deal they struck to have a seat in their beloved directors box (after their treachery) just shows what self-serving filth they really are. The hatred will grow and it wont help the club because many won't renew season tickets knowing those scumbags are taking the p#ss . Even Petty had the decency to f#ck off!
