I went to Stamford Bridge last night to a gig at a venue i hadn't been to before called Under The Bridge. Ashamed to say it was a great place and The Skatalites were flipping brilliant.
3 of us R's went when it first opened to see The Blind Boys of Alabama.
We got put in 1 of the booths and we're given free food -which was very high quality. The booth next to us was empty - 10 minutes into the gig, huge security guys started making there way to the empty booth, and then Abramovich turned up.
We challenged 1 of the group to attack the booth, but he declined.

Molton Brown hand soap and hand cream in the bogs. And I'm not joking.
Unless you stole it from them on your way out, or some other nefarious strike upon the foundations of that slag pit, then I'm afraid forgiveness is out of the question!

Been there three times in the last year, seen the blockheads, spear of destiny and some up and coming singer I've never heard of, location apart it's a great place to watch a band.

In regard to the op I am not sure whether to recommend prolonged withdrawal from the world for the purposes of spiritual reflection, or full-blown exorcism. I think I'm going to have to go with exorcism.

Skatalites are one of my all-time favourite bands. Lloyd Brevett, their bass player and arranger, died a coupe of years ago and I always regret not seeing them live.
This is a cover of The Soul Vendors (Roland Alphonso was originally in the Skatalites) track Swing Easy. They nail it.
I can forgive anyone venturing into that 'wretched hive of scum and villainy' if you were going to see The Skatalites.
