The latest Vote Leave broadcast started off with some factually dubious scaremongering about Turkey then moved on to tell us all how that EU mines would be so much better spent on the NHS. Which will confuse plenty of the newer Brexot types who would like nothing more than to see far less public money thrown at the NHS.

It's utterly rivetting on all sides. Not.
I suspect the campaigns have done nothing to influence people whatsoever, people will still vote the way they felt months ago.
I think you may be right, for once. Although the next fortnight of the leave campaign's inevitable focus on "the immigrunts" will appeal to the baser instincts of many.

Uplifting.

And the nonsense about Britain sending 350 a day to the EU. How they are still peddling this discredited nonsense is beyond belief.

Jones' work history prior to journalism was as a union lobbyist and then a researcher for John McDonnell.
He's never worked outside the political bubble. He's a freelance journalist and also an author. His income streams are by no means comparable to what for want of a better word would be "normal" work.
The point I was poorly trying to make was that Jones has made more than enough money to comfortably live off. Higher taxation wouldn't affect him to the same degree it would affect plenty of hard working middle class families; he's got his money already, higher taxes on future income won't be as bad for him. So he's hypocritical imo in that calling for higher taxes will affect plenty of people not in his circumstances.
I do agree that's not the greatest stick that he can be beaten with.
I think Owen is quite interesting to listen to until he starts becoming tribal.
For instance he has done some good interviews with people from across the spectrum but soon as he's on QT or something else he reverts to 'it's all the tories fault' - it's banal
My father voted labour and his father voted labour and his father voted labour so I vote labour

He's not a bad interviewer but his politics are very "student". He may well never live down the moment he claimed Russell Brand's voting intentions made any difference to anyone ever.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

The woman with the glasses shouting is enough to jump to the brexit side. I have to turn my tv down when remain are talking.

Oh yes, I'm sure when he grows up he'll be writing for the telegraph.

I think Eddie Izzard has just taken us one step closer to leaving. Remarkable that he was put forward by 'Remain' to try and persuade the masses. His performance and attitudes just about summed up what the average Joe/Josie is so fukking sick of from politicians in this country and the EU.
Some words; arrogant, stupid, childish, naive, snobby, rude, shallow, self-obsessed, shameless, patronising, hypocrite, on another fukking planet.
