Because we don't have a team set up to create lots of chances for a goalscorer to just run onto and finish. If we did, Gomis would probably be ok. |
I think we do though, just Gomis can't make the runs. Gylfi has the eye for a pass and dare I say it Shelvey did too, but Gomis hasn't got the turn of pace to get away from defenders, this is why he's offside all the time in my opinion, he can't afford to give a yard.
This Doumbia guy sounds perfect, it sounds like he has the strengths we need but like everyone else from abroad, it's how be reacts to the premier league. Would be be chuffed with Remy, but it's never going to happen. [Post edited 20 Jan 2016 20:58]
