It just reminded me of when some tw@t on here came on saying we should never sign another Australian because of Zelic and Nick thingummy.
It's irrelevant where a player comes from, it's whether he's right for the club.
For what it's worth, I think Lambert would be a great signing for us for a couple of years, if the price was right and the wages not too high. Good player, good attitude, goalscorer.


His wage demands are supposed quite high. If that's not an issue then fair enough but I'd rather someone with a bit of upside and sell on value like a Gray. (Not necessarily him I've barely seen him play)
