They fought back very well with the ball. Maybe a wake up call for nz who look to have a really good team

NZ on their day are destructive but overall they are inconsistent - better than England though. Eoin Morgan has to step up now on Fri against them-as do many others!!

Morgan is under real pressure as he doesn't done much better than cook during his short time as captain

NZ v England today. Looking forward to this one, but the result does not matter, both will qualify - these group games are meaningless really.

On current form NZ will win but as you say this whole tournament is so drawn out it won't really start becoming important for another couple of weeks How are the NZ public embracing it? Super rugby just started back up so is that more important?

No, super rugby is taking a back seat to the cricket right now, which is top of the sport news most of the time. It helps when you keep winning, but not sure the Black Caps batting is consistent enough, although they have been going well over the last few months, bar the Scotland game, when they just wanted to reach the total ASAP. A fair number of All Blacks are not even playing yet, with it being world cup year, I think they all have to stand down for 2 or 3 games at some point. Big year, world cup in rugby and cricket, oh and netball

Still amazes me how such a small population can keep producing world class sports men & women. The ITM cup would piss all over pro 12 rugby and now the black caps are looking really strong. Not forgetting he yachtsmen who nearly snatched the Americas cup!

Boycott!!! My word, he's ood value with his comments but way out of touch with coaching fast scoring runs with shots that didn't even exist when he was playing

Its all about technique batting and no one better than Boycott age is not important he was the best and we should use the best available to us

Test match cricket yes but the limited over technique is completely different. Even fast scoring players from the era like botham and lamb would struggle with coaching one day shots as it has changed so much
