Forget the Rotherham, Birmingham and Millwall games - these were all very poor sides who quite rightly are in the bottom half of the Championship and reflect how poor most of this league is this season and why it's a complete disgrace we're bottom.

Isn't it a bit embarrassing that we screw up the pitch in a pathetic attempt to level the playing field (pun intended) against more skilled teams.

Indeed it is, however:

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Championship survival is a must.

Other Championship sides are really not going to fancy it on the Bloomfield Road surface. It surprised me v Brighton just how bad the surface has become. I walked down to get as close to the surface as I could. Blimey, it really is poor!

Love the optimism Ossie, but Bournemouth showed that they could play a lot better than we can well on our disgrace of a pitch. The o/p is probably right, 'Boro will make us look silly tomorrow.
