| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Tom Carroll on 18:30 - Jan 10 with 2507 views | bermudajack | I thought carroll was excellent today, whenever we had a period of prolonged possession, he was running the show, he was very unlucky with a couple of through balls that didn't quite make it, much busier and energetic than Shelvey. I thought Leon was poor first half but improved after the break, It just didn't happen for Siggy today, that shot summed up his day - not quite as good as he can be. Both wingers dissapointed me today, Routs just went through the motions and Dyer was too tippy, tappy with no real penetration, he did put one beauty of a cross in for Gomis though. Ash had his work cut out today and came out second best against Carroll today, Fernandez was excellent today 👠both Taylor & Rangel worked their socks off too... Special mention to Fabianski, Those saves at the end has saved us yet again 😳😳😳 can't see Vorm saving either of those. West Ham were great, knocked the ball around with ease, they gave their all and were unlucky with the clear chances they created not to get all 3 points today...

Tom Carroll on 18:36 - Jan 10 with 2467 views | Islander | Definitely - positive, footballing intelligence, always looking for the ball v much a "Leon" - with a cultured left foot and an eye for the killer pass
Tom Carroll on 18:50 - Jan 10 with 2391 views | airedale | And, no offence to any of our players present and past, more eager to make progress down the pitch. Classy player and personally I'd love us to sign him.
Tom Carroll on 19:14 - Jan 10 with 2288 views | SkipTheJack | Really suits our style of play. Would love us to sign him permanently.
Tom Carroll on 19:39 - Jan 10 with 2179 views | ABERSWAN | Seems to be getting a big thumbs up from most fans,so with a big cheque on its way from City, should we putting an offer in to spurs? Monk would know if he would like to stay,so how much is he worth, and should we go for it now in January?

Tom Carroll on 20:30 - Jan 10 with 1949 views | FearOfAJackPlanet | 2 players had a lot to live up to today, stepping into the shoes of 2 of our best players of the season - Carroll taking up the midfield dynamo role from Ki and Gomis picking up the weighty gauntlet left behind by Wilf. Both delivered, big time. Carroll has shown glimpses of his natural class before, but has often seemed to play within himself a bit, playing very safe. Today, you could tell he just thought, 'f*ck it, I'm just going to go for it and play my game'. He was much more involved that he usually is, demanding the ball, taking responsibility for making us tick, being that link between Leon, the defence and Gylfi, Bafe and the wingers. Showed a great range of passing, great positioning and admirable technique. I was very very impressed with him today. Not perfect of course, but taken in the context of the game (the opposition/lacking a couple of star players), it was very promising. I wouldn't hesitate in signing him permanently.

| Joe_bradshaw -I thought the cryochamber was the new name for Cardiff's stadium.

Tom Carroll on 21:02 - Jan 10 with 1818 views | monmouth | Depends what he and Spurs want to happen. He may well want to go back and fight for his place, if they want him. If not, I'd snap him up sharpish.

I think siggy's performance was down to the lack of decent runs from those ahead of him. He was working as hard as usual but often had few options to pick out. I disagree about Routs - he was busy and put in a decent shift, it just wasn't happening for him but not because he was going through the motions. Dyer much flatter. Monk was full of cold, so maybe one or too are below par? Mo and Emnes made a great difference when they came on though. Barrow's starting to look the real deal and causes all sorts of problems. Tom's getting better and better. As said above, it's like having Joey back. I can see him knocking Leon out of the side at this rate.
Tom Carroll on 22:52 - Jan 10 with 1635 views | marchamjack | First 2 or 3 games he played for us I thought he's the new Josh MacEchran (ie crp), but very happy to totally eat my words now. Was a Leon/Joe combo today, excellent excellent player. Garry needs to get him on board permanently and tell him he can play for us more or less most games and have a first team career here and not head to the back of the Spurs rotation line if he goes back there. We'll have the money. Spend it on him. We know he fits in with us. Would not be a gamble. Tell him go back there and you could be another Scott Sinclair. Stay with us and you've got a shot at being a Leon. No higher praise.
| Oh,..Dave, what's occuring? |

Tom Carroll on 23:37 - Jan 10 with 1548 views | jack247 | Haven't been a big fan of Tom Carroll so far this season, but thought he was immense today. Clear MOM for me, despite very good performances from Fernandez and Gomis.
Tom Carroll on 23:53 - Jan 10 with 1517 views | Far_Post | After a first half where I thought he played it a bit safe with a lot of sideways and backwards passes he totally came alive in the second. Much more positive and looked to drive us forward at every opportunity. Was very impressed with his performance against Arsenal and again today.
