Manager has to go,starting with no Centre Forward is total BS he has lost the plot totally and he needs to be shown the door and leave.Awful game to watch especially the first half we never looked like we would score,if we stay with RM we are doomed for the Championship once again.

3.1 down with ten minutes to go and the idiots are still playing it around at the back and still nearly getting caught out. You couldn't make it up. He must go tomorrow

The first half could hardly have been worse. We did have a great early chance from the break by Lesley. THB played one sublime through ball to Dibling. After we got picked apart by Bournemouth. I am not against playing out of the back in principle to break the press, but the way Saints do it is hopeless. Is this what RM wants, or are the players not stepping up!? We have to mix in the fast break and put the ball into the box quickly or else we are sunk. Little positive to say otherwise. Ross got on the ball a lot, Lallana looked class at times. Things have to change if we are not to be cast adrift by Christmas.

Absolute 5h1t show. 5 strikers on the bench, 0 in the starting line up. Shambles of a selection and dire tactics. More often than not attacking players received the ball with backs to goal and passed it back, throw ins in the final 3rd went back to our own centre backs, little desire to get forward and be an attacking threat, kept giving the ball away.

I have lost faith in RM tonight, that selection shows he's run out of ideas. Lallana looked our best player and he only got 20 mins. KWP still benched. I would have even liked to see Tall Paul given a run and launch the ball towards their box, surely even that would have been more exciting than the dross I watched.

After 2 games I said RM should be sacked & nothing since has changed my mind, except we've wasted another 4 games.
Only RM could start Dibbers, our best young winger, as a striker & surprise surprise he struggled, not his fault, with 5 strikers on the bench which included our last 4 strikers signed - unbelievable.
First half was just embarrassing, no fight, no commitment & no skill.
Fraser was miles off the pace, jury still out on Ross but at least he was an outlet. Not a great fan of Aribo but at least he should effort & desire distinctly lacking with most of the rest of the team.
Just sack RM now, whatever the cost.

We were not at all set up to be successful tonight. The list of players on the bench and/or not even included says it all. I'd be surprised if RM hasn't lost the dressing room. He's a competitive Championship manager (and we have a competitive Championship squad). But, at least at this stage in his career, he's too inflexible to succeed in the Premier League.

Two additional observations:

-- For me, the biggest difference between the Championship and the Prem is the intensity and meticulousness of the marking. We defend and attack like we're still in the Championship. The reason we can't get out of our own half is because opponents' marking is so tight. The reason we keep shipping goals—indeed, all THREE of tonight's—is because we don't close down attackers.

-- I trust that fans who were stranded in Bournemouth by the train cancellation have made it back by now and are given tomorrow off by their employers'!

Hang on—he HAS lost the dressing room after all. Read on for a rant that's sure to get him sacked (and verges on Nathan Jones idiocy): https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/24620415.martins-scathing-assessment-southampt

Although I am in favour of RM being given more time, last night there was a distinct Mark Hughes vibe about him. RM doesn't seem to know what is his best team and seems to be starting to lay the blame on the players. Unless this changes he's not going to last too much longer.

Appalling first half, lucky to reach halftime just 3 down.

The gulf between the two sides was massive. Bournemouth will most likely finish bottom half.

I don't fault Martin for setting up differently to start with. It was working pretty well and Bournemouth were surprised. Their first goal killed us, which shows how mentally weak we are (a common theme in recent years). One of the Bournemouth players said that they'd planned that free kick because we don't reset quick enough. That's ultimately a Martin fault but surely the players should be alert? The rest of the first half was terrible. Second half better but immaterial as Bournemouth were cruising. We don't have many players of PL quality, so I'm unclear what sacking Martin would achieve. Potter would be an upgrade.
Have to play lallana as much as possible. Stewart looks good.

I was in the 'give him a few more games' camp but that first half changed my mind. Team selection and tactics are odder than Ralph at his most eccentric and the whole thing was an embarrassing shambles after the first goal. We may be doomed anyway but we certainly are under RM. I have no confidence in the current lot's capacity to choose an adequate replacement but not changing is no longer an option...
