Well done Saints, thank you for a great season, so proud to have supported you for nearly 60 years.Hope we can keep all on board but the Vultures will be circling and try to disable us once more. Can't wait to see what comes up for us next, COYR.

Isn't it amazing when we can play as badly and still win 4-1. We have to thank Fraser today for keeping us in it at times. Taking off Romeu was a tactical disaster leaving the mid-field wide open, with better finishing Palace would have ruined our party.

Still it's end of term we've secured a place in Europe, finished in our highest ever PL position with our highest ever points tally - not bad, not bad at all. Well done everyone at the Club.

Now Les, Ron has done his bit your turn to do yours get Vic & Sadio on long contracts now!

Eventually a great finish to a great season. But the first half was a throw-back to the jittery goal-shy Saints of previous years. Palace stifled everything with Speroni time-wasting in the first minute but also looked threatening in attack on the few occasions they moved forward. And some of the passing was wayward, to say the least. So many times in the first half, passes were hugely overhit. Forster made a couple of great saves and it was good to see so many defenders dive in and make brave blocks throughout the game. Even the crowd was a bit quiet in the 20 minutes before the first goal.

That was a huge relief and Saints started the second half playing much better and, although there were a few nerves when Puncheon scored, it was only really a matter of time before we scored another, and another.

I thought Jason Puncheon had a great game yesterday - just a shame we had to wait for him to be playing for Palace before having his best ever game at St Mary's.

But all the criticisms above are mild when you think of what a fantastic season this has been for Saints. The quality of play, the togetherness of the squad and management, the atmosphere home and away and some brilliant wins against the so-called top six. Being at White Hart Lane was a huge highlight, the Liverpool comeback, beating Chelsea at their place, likewise Manure.

Hopefully the new long-term contracts signed by Fraser, Virgil and Prowsey will demonstrate clearly how ambitious Saints are for the future and encourage one or two of the others to follow suit.

Looking forward to Jay-Rod coming back stronger next season and one or two new faces coming in to add to the squad before we embark on the European tour of 2016/17.

One final word... the refereeing has been utter shite all season and something really has to be done. Soare getting Pelle booked yesterday was a classic example of refs being so easily conned - and at first I think he was going to book Mane for a dive before the linesman changed his mind and he gave the pen.

Good match with 2 decent teams both going for the win......individual(s) mistakes from Dale cost us the point.

Sad to see the attendance has gone down for 3rd year running.

Finally we have a "team" of players playing as a "team". Most everyone played well but Gladwin looked out of depth and appeared a very weak link. Not sure if we can afford this weak link to become a regular first pick

we all know what went wrong - Jim McN is not a full back ( no pace) and Joe Bunney was a waste of time,However Kh seems satisfied with a home defeat after being ahead twice and has come up with a solution - bring back his old favourite Joe Thomson. Bizarre!!

for a lot oif the game not much between these two teams But Caulker and Massimo were a class apart JFH has them working as a unit and the spirit looks good Dont think this was a true 3 niler as Leeds had opportunity to get back into the game but what fine shot from Poulter to finish it off Good performances from Bidwell and the new lad Olly . Cousins also made a positive contribution Great to see Green get a good reception but boy does his kicking looking poor ! Always impressed with the Leeds fans- got to say they are vocal and committed lot and added to the great atmosphere at LR-Great way to kick off the season

It was a wonderful start to the season. My misses summed it up well, she has been a semi regular the last few years after being a season ticket holder for a decade but not really enjoyed it. She said yesterday it felt like watching QPR again, a team all giving it their best, they made mistakes and were far from perfect but couldn’t fault any of them. She said she’s not enjoyed a game as much as that at QPR since Holloway was manager, although she did only make one game in the Warnock promotion season which we managed to lose.

I thought we were excellent yesterday. A few players really stood out.
Bidwell looked excellent at left back, really liked the look of him. Caulker looks so much stronger and fitter than he did in his last spell with us. I’m sure he’ll leave this month but good to see him putting him career back on track.

Luongo was man of the match for me, he looked fitter and stronger than last season and got back to cut out several counter attacks with very well timed tackles, one of them lead to the second goal.

Polter as well was superb leading the line, his goal was a different class.

A good debut as well for Shodipo who looked good on the left for us and Cousins looked decent when he came on as well.

Only negative was the abuse Gladwin got when he failed to track his man and had a poor five minutes. The stick he got from the crowd was well over the top and it’s no wonder he struggles with confidence. Saying that after a bright start he faded and looked shattered by half time.

Rob Green was hilarious, his piss poor kicking which regularly failed to hit the half way line brought great joy, perhaps people outside QPR may now realise it wasn’t just due to his contract that he was dropped and kept out of the side last season.

Great start, I still don’t expect much more than mid table but was great to that beautiful badge and kit, it all felt like QPR again.

Great start to the season. The side looked like it was well-drilled, fit and had a clear plan. Compare that to some of the dreck we've seen from luminaries such as Hughes or Redknapp over the years and it gives a real sense of a corner turned.

Particular mentions go to Shodipo, who looked an absolute natural on his league debut, Mass, who played like a man possessed and Polter, who led the line brilliantly throughout.

And that defence...? They look like they'd tackle a concrete effigy of King Kong if it was on-side.

Loving my Monday.
