As I've said before , we have been looking jaded recently, most noticeably Tadic - he looks all-in and his crossing today was truly woeful with no variation. Forster gives me less confidence the more I see him. If/when Schneiderlin goes we really will need an urgent replacement as we didn't function when he failed to reappear for the second half. We were bullied out of this game which would not have happened with Morgan on the pitch.Davis looked not quite fit second half but the biggest disappointment for me was Clyne. Did he have any studs on his boots. I don't know how many times he slipped. I fear that we will sink to our true position of seventh, eighth or ninth. The referee today was quite possibly the worst we've had this season but at least he handed out poor decisions equally. Pity Jack Cork was unwell.

I felt today was 1. about the depth of our squad (we finished with Mayuka and Yoshida on the pitch - players who would struggle to make any prem or even top championship team) and 2. about how tough it is at the top. Man City had open away matches at West Ham and QPR and took just one point. Today they paid us the complement of stopping us playing rather than simply thinking their superiority was bound to win out in the end. In other words they took us seriously.

That said we were still in the game with 10 mins left against 10 men. Instead of passing it around and patiently creating 1 or 2 chances we simply threw it away.

We looked like the away team for the first 1/3 of the game--that was bad tactics and, I think, nerves. After that, a good fist at it but no real threat up front until Long came on. Our goalie never makes saves...what's that about?

Can't argue with the result although i don't think the scoreline was a fair reflection of the game.

they taught us a lesson today on how to control the spaces and how to close teams down. hopefully its a lesson we will take on board.

Can't help but think that RK made a mistake with the 1/2 time substitution. Our back 4 has looked good and settled so why break it up and unsettle the team? Ok Morgan had to go off by why not drop Davis along side Wanyama and bring on Long to support Pelle (who was very isolated).

I would say in a nutshell....we started badly; we found our footing; we ended the half strong; we started the second half ok; let in a cheap goal; Koeman put everyone on offense; let in 2 more goals as consequence. The ref was terrible in the first half....should've been a PK...sorry but I honestly think it was. And some fouls given against us were just stupid.

I felt that Fonte and Toby were good in the back. Clyne and Bertrand played well...Bertrand played better. He tends to take on defenders more than Clyne. But Clyne can get into better positions. Our organization during the first half in defense was perfect. Schneiderlin had a great game....bossing the midfield Wanyama was Amazing in the midfield. Davis was quiet in my opinion but he doesn't make mistakes so that's good. Tadic had awful first touches in the game but looked good once he settled the ball. He needs to have more tenacity out wide. Pelle was good. But pelle needs to score. Like HAS to score soon.

I feel that tactically we were as organized as possible I feel like we have the offensive to defensive organized movement down packed...it's almost impervious but if someone doesn't fully understand the system then that is a maaaajor problem. That happened today in the second half and we lost it. Today Schneiderlin got hurt mid game and we put in Yoshida and switched Toby. I think that Cork should've came on he would've done a better job at pressing than Toby who is a better tackler. Yoshida shouldn't have came on. Tadic and Mane actually switched back and forth in the first half which was great and caused a lot of problems....I am now starting to think Long should start over Mane. I think. Finally Pelle needs to SCORE!

My question is......why hasn't Koeman played Cork recently....he is a great player IMO
We need to not choke against the big clubs.
We can't let Rodriguez go....we really need him on offense. I would rather sub him on to play than Mayuka...I think I would actually start him along side Tadic and Pelle if he finds his form.

This was the first team we actually "lost" to so yea I accept that and i am extremely dissapointed but we are still 3rd and we have beaten Arsenal before so I'm excited to watch that game.

I was wrong...Jack Cork wasn't on the list of subs. Didn't realize he wasn't there. We could've really used him today though. Hopefully he will be back for Wednesday
